Orange
In psychology, orange is the color of vitality and creativity, representing energy, enthusiasm and fun, but its presence is also associated with the search for deep meaning in existence and reconnection with oneself.
In advertising and marketing, this color is used to attract attention and generate a sense of urgency among potential customers, while in some religious contexts, such as in Buddhism, orange can represent serenity and perfection.
However, orange can also represent frivolity, immaturity or arrogance, among other negative connotations.
This pair of photos from my personal archive were taken last year during the celebration of Holy Week, and correspond to the entrance of the Basilica of Holy Christ of Grace, better known as El Cristo Church, a Catholic temple located in the central area of the city of Barquisimeto.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
En psicología, el naranja es el color de la vitalidad y la creatividad, representando energía, entusiasmo, creatividad y diversión, pero su presencia también se encuentra asociada a la búsqueda de un significado profundo en la existencia y de reconexión con uno mismo.
En la publicidad y marketing, este color se usa para atraer la atención y generar una sensación de urgencia entre los potenciales clientes, mientras que en algunos contextos religiosos, como en el budismo, el naranja puede representar la serenidad y la perfección.
Sin embargo, el naranja también puede representar la frivolidad, la inmadurez o la arrogancia, entre otras connotaciones negativas.
Este par de fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé el año pasado durante la celebración de la Semana Santa, y corresponden a la entrada de la Basílica del Santo Cristo de la Gracia, mejor conocida como Iglesia El Cristo, un templo católico ubicado en el casco central de la ciudad de Barquisimeto.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
