Summer
A couple of months ago, in what could be described as the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I traveled to Tucacas, a coastal town located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea in western Venezuela.
This region of the country is home to the Morrocoy National Park, an extensive area of aquatic and terrestrial spaces comprising a marine ecosystem highly appreciated by local and foreign tourists for its beautiful beaches of warm waters and white sands, ideal for resting or practicing sports activities.
Although my stay was brief and I did not have the opportunity to do everything I would have liked to do, at least it was quite fruitful in taking pictures, both of the town and the surroundings of the resort where I was staying.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Verano
Un par de meses atrás, en lo que podría ser descrito como el inicio del verano en el Hemisferio Norte, viajé a Tucacas, una población costera ubicada a orillas del Mar Caribe en el occidente de Venezuela.
En esta región del país se encuentra el Parque Nacional Morrocoy, una extensa área de espacios acuáticos y terrestres que comprende un ecosistema marino muy apreciado por los turistas locales y extranjeros por sus hermosas playas de aguas cálidas y blancas arenas, ideales para el descanso o la práctica de actividades deportivas.
Aunque mi estadía fué breve y no tuve la oportunidad de hacer todo lo que hubiese querido hacer, al menos fué bastante fructífera en la toma de fotos, tanto del poblado como de los alrededores del conjunto vacacional donde estuve alojado.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
