Greetings dear community,
As I am a coffee lover, I could not miss this weekend, visiting the Third International Meeting of Venezuelan Specialty Coffee (EICEV), an event that took place at the Simon Bolivar Park located at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Base in La Carlota, Caracas Venezuela and that started last Thursday June 13.
This was a great opportunity for coffee lovers from the capital, which allowed us to taste a wide variety of high quality coffees, learn about the culture and its industrial process, as well as to support the producers and entrepreneurs of the different coffee growing states.
There were many brands that I could see in my tour and I was able to taste only a few proposals. There are many variables that are presented to obtain the final result, a flavor that characterizes it according to where it is grown, its type, its process and mixture, to finish with its preparation.
When we savor coffee our senses are opened to enjoy this aromatic beverage, smell it, taste it, if it is sweet or bitter, feel the temperature, its body or texture, see its presentation and enjoy it with family and friends, it is a wonderful touch to this experience.
This time I went with my family and everyone gave their opinion. After spending some time enjoying the scenery of Cerro Avila and the lake, we bought some chichas with coffee, the first time I drank it and I liked it a lot.
On the way back to the exit of the fair, I met two friends who also took the opportunity to live the experience, we talked for a while and then we went back to our house.
First time I write in this community and I found it very fun to document my Sunday walk, so I thank you for reading and getting here.

Como soy amante del Café, por eso no me podía perder este fin de semana, visitar el Tercer Encuentro Internacional de Café de Especialidad Venezolano (EICEV), un evento que tuvo lugar en el Parque Simón Bolívar ubicado en la Base Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda en La Carlota, Caracas Venezuela y que inicio el pasado jueves 13 de junio.
Esta fue una gran oportunidad para los capitalinos amantes del café, que nos permitió degustar una amplia variedad de tipos de café de alta calidad, a su vez aprender sobre la cultura y su proceso industrial, así como apoyar a los productores y emprendedores de los distintos estados cafeteros.
Fueron muchas marcas que pude ver en mi recorrido y logre catar solo algunas propuestas. Son muchas las variables que se presentan para obtener el resultado final, un sabor que le caracterice según donde lo cultiven, su tipo, su proceso y mezcla, para finalizar con su preparación.
Cuando saboreamos el café se nos abren los sentidos para disfrutar de esta aromática bebida, olerlo, saborearlo, si esta dulce o amargo, sentir la temperatura, su cuerpo o textura, ver su presentación y disfrutarlo con la familia y amigos, es un toque maravilloso a esta experiencia.
En esta oportunidad fui con mi familia y cada uno daba su opinión. Luego de estar un rato disfrutando del paisaje del cerro Ávila y el laguito, nos compramos unas chichas con café, primera vez que lo tomaba y me gusto bastante.
En el camino de regreso a la salida de la feria, me encontré a dos amigas que también se dieron la oportunidad de vivir la experiencia, conversamos por un rato y luego si de regreso a nuestra casa.
Primera vez que escribo en esta comunidad y me pareció muy divertido documentar mi paseo dominguero, por eso les doy las gracias por leer y llegar hasta aquí.
