DREAM MEETUP IN CARACAS
When I came to Hive almost two years ago, in March 2022, I didn't know what Web3 was and the first thing I did was to look for communities that matched my interests so I could share content. I only had a general idea of how our platform works. I didn't know how to layout, I had no friends on the platform. My first followers didn't speak my language, Spanish. That's why my posts are usually bilingual, in Spanish and English, so that any reader in the world who understands English can read me.
As I started posting in Hispanic communities and started following other Hispanic and Venezuelan writers I was able to start growing within the platform and make friends in the chats. Last year the Venezuelan Hive community organized several events at Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, where I live and it was really exciting to meet in person several Venezuelan hivers at the event "Sonidos de bienestar", which I reviewed at the time.

When you meet such nice and talented people, of course you want to share with them again. For more than a decade I have been organizing literary meetings in cultural spaces in my city. That's why I loved the idea of participating in the "Dream meetup" contest, organized by C/BuzzParty Meet Hive! and imagining what a hivers event would be like in my city where we would have a fun time that would make us all happy.
DREAM MEETUP IN CARACAS
Where?
In my city, Caracas, there are several very nice cultural spaces where you can be in contact with nature, relax and feel happy. Last weekend I met a new space, the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural Center, which has beautiful gardens and spaces where cultural activities take place. When I visited it I thought it could be a good meeting place, an excellent place to forget about problems and share with other hivers.
Program
There I would like to call on friends whose texts I have read with pleasure on our platform, some of them live at Caracas and in Venezuela @Ylich @germanandradeg @sacra97 @gislandpoetic @aguamiel @josemalavem @getheenspring @joalheall @lecumberre @yenmendt @astrea @manclar But also friends like @numa26 Venezuelan who currently lives in Argentina or the dear Cuban friend @nanixxx or the Spanish musician friend @mipiano who would read us some travel chronicle. It would be a meeting of Spanish-speaking Hivers at Caracas.

In that meeting we would read our texts and comment on them, we would do writing exercises together as exquisite corpses, which are collective texts in which each person adds a phrase or write from a phrase or word. @frankches and @yenmendt would make drawings of the encounter, which they would then share on their Hive blog. @Ylich would sing us some songs. We would share a tasty snack together.

It would be a meeting to enjoy, to share what we like to do, in the middle of a very pleasant landscape such as the gardens of the Center. It would be a meeting open to the public, to people who like literature, so that they can listen to the talented writers on our platform.

That would be for me an ideal meeting of Hivers at Caracas, my city. A meeting of Hispanic writers of our platform. Because after meeting personally some Venezuelan Hivers last year, I wanted to share more with them. And since dreaming doesn't cost anything, I imagined a meeting with other Spanish-speaking Hivers writers who have caught my attention with their texts. LA REUNIÓN DE MIS SUEÑOS EN CARACAS
Cuando llegué a Hive hace casi dos años, en marzo de 2022, no sabía qué era la Web3 y la primera cosa que hice fue buscar comunidades afines a mis intereses para poder compartir contenido. Sólo tenía una idea general sobre cómo funciona nuestra plataforma. No sabía cómo maquetar, no tenía amigos en la plataforma. Mis primeros seguidores no hablaban mi idioma, el español. Por eso generalmente mis post son bilingües, en español e inglés, para que cualquier lector del mundo que entienda el inglés pueda leerme.
En la medida en que empecé a publicar en comunidades hispanas y empecé a seguir a otros escritores hispanos y venezolanos pude empezar a crecer dentro de la plataforma y hacer amigos en los chats. El año pasado la comunidad venezolana de Hive organizó varios eventos en Caracas, la capital de Venezuela, donde yo vivo y fue realmente emocionante poder conocer en persona a diversos hivers venezolanos en el evento “Sonidos de bienestar”, el cual reseñé en su momento

Cuando te encuentras con personas tan agradables y talentosas por supuesto te quedan ganas de compartir nuevamente con ellas. Desde hace más de una década he organizado encuentros literarios en espacios culturales de mi ciudad. Por eso me encantó la idea de participar en el concurso “Dream meetup”, convocado por C/BuzzParty Meet Hive! e imaginar cómo sería un evento de hivers en mi ciudad en el cual pasaríamos un rato divertido que nos hiciera felices a todos.
LA REUNIÓN DE MIS SUEÑOS EN CARACAS
¿Dónde?
En mi ciudad, Caracas, hay diversos espacios culturales muy agradables donde puedes estar en contacto con la naturaleza, relajarte y sentirte feliz. El fin de semana pasado conocí un nuevo espacio el Centro Cultural Aquiles Nazoa, el cual tiene bonitos jardines y espacios donde se realizan actividades culturales. Cuando lo visité pensé que podía ser un buen espacio de encuentro, un lugar excelente para olvidarte de los problemas y compartir con otros hivers.

Allí me gustaría convocar a los amigos cuyos textos he leído con gusto en nuestra plataforma, algunos de ellos viven en Caracas y en Venezuela @Ylich @germanandradeg @sacra97 @gislandpoetic @aguamiel @josemalavem @getheenspring @joalheal @lecumberre @yenmendt @astrea @manclar Pero también amigos como @numa26 venezolana que actualmente vive en Argentina o la querida amiga cubana @nanixxx o la amiga músico española @mipiano quien nos leería alguna crónica de viajes. En ese encuentro leeríamos nuestros textos y los comentaríamos, haríamos ejercicios de escritura juntos como cadáveres exquisitos, que son textos colectivos en los que cada persona agrega una frase o escribir a partir de una frase o palabra. @frankches y @yenmendt harían dibujos del encuentro, que luego compartirían en su blog de Hive. @Ylich nos cantaría algunas canciones. Compartiríamos una sabrosa merienda juntos.

Sería un encuentro para disfrutar, para compartir lo que nos gusta hacer, en medio de un paisaje muy agradable como los jardines de La Estancia. Sería un encuentro abierto al público, a personas que les gusta la literatura, para que puedan escuchar a los talentosos escritores que hay en nuestra plataforma.

Ese sería para mí un encuentro ideal de Hivers en Caracas, mi ciudad. Un encuentro de escritores hispanos de nuestra plataforma. Porque luego de conocer personalmente a algunos Hivers venezolanos el año pasado me quedé con ganas de compartir más con ellos. Y como soñar no cuesta nada, me imaginé un encuentro con otros hivers escritores de habla hispana que me han atrapado con sus textos.
