My Modern Format Daily Game Activity and My Road to Champion Leagues
On Splinterlands the season 156 of Ranked Play is in progress, a season that is almost at an end because at the time I am writing this post there are only 2 days, 15 hours and just over 50 minutes left until the end of the season.
On Splinterlands you can play on three Ranked game modes:
- Wild Format: it is possible to use cards from all sets, Wild Pass must be paid each season, multi-accounts, bots and battle helpers are allowed
- Modern Format: only cards from the last two sets released in time order can be used, multi-accounts are allowed but bots and battle helpers are prohibited
- Survival Mode: it is possible to use cards from all sets, multi-accounts, bots and battle helpers are allowed

My favorite format is the Modern Format because I like to play manually on Splinterlands and because I only enjoy playing against human players like me.
At the beginning of the current season my plan was to play many more battles than the previous season and my game goal was to at least arrive in the Champion III league.
Unfortunately, my plan for the current season was ruined by the many work commitments I had in the previous days.
With the little free time I have had, I have often left my energy bar idle at maximum.
When there are less than three days left until the end of the season I have played only 73 battles.
The only positive aspect is that my seasonal win rate, although partial, has improved compared to the previous season: 63.01% vs 50.78%.
On Sunday I will be away from home for the whole day so I will try to recover the lost time by playing as many battles as possible today and also try to reach the Champion III league.
In this post I share my most recent daily game session in the Modern Format and I will write this post contextually with my game activity and alternate writing phases with game phases.
My starting point is:
- Lega: Diamond I
- Rating: 3600
- Energia disponibile: 46
- Glint Balance: 35040.8 Glint
- Season End Loot: 28768 Glint
- Rank: 271
- Total Battles: 73
- Total Wins: 43
In Modern Format I play with two accounts (libertycrypto27 and libertygame27) but in this post I show you the game activity of my main account which has the strongest card collection in battles compared to the other account.
With @libertycrypto27 in Modern Format:
- I use a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of 1275 cards = 21732 BCX = 657020 CP = $3027.84 Market Value (using Market Prices).
- I have a SPS stake = 134K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = 84K effective
- I don't rent cards from the market and only use cards I own
First Battle: 28 available mana - Battle Rules: Little League, Target Practice and Melee Mayhem.
The first battle was a quite balanced battle until round 2 then my Doctor Blight and Dhampir Infiltrator cards made the difference and I won the battle during round 5.
Second Battle: 60 mana available - Battle Rules: Armored Up, Counterspell and Lost Legendaries.
This time my opponent wins, choosing a better strategy than mine.
Third Battle: 12 available mana - Battle Rules: Healed Out, Weak Magic and Taking Sides.
Return to victory and return to within 80 rating points of the Champion III league.
Fourth battle: 18 mana available - Battle Rules: Weak Magic, Aimless and Deflection Field.
When the battle rules include Aimless I always try to use at least one card with the Triage ability but in this case I make positioning errors and my strategy is not optimal and my opponent wins the battle.

In the game session I showed you I played 41 battles.
Compared to the starting point I showed you earlier there were these changes:
- Lega: Diamond I = No difference
- Rating: 3600 -> 3620 = +20
- Energia disponibile: 46 -> 18 = -28
- My Glint Balance: 35040.8 Glint -> 49496.8 Glint = +14456 Glint
- Season End Loot: 28768 Glint -> 43224 Glint = +14456 Glint
- Rank: 271 -> 272 = -1
- Total Battles: 73 -> 114 = +41
- Total Wins: 43 -> 66 = +23
I did not reach the Champion III league (my seasonal game goal) but I came very close to my seasonal goal on three occasions but lost the decisive battles that would have allowed me to enter the Champion III league.
In the next image you can see one of the three battles I lost that if I had won would have put me into the Champion III league.
My win rate in the daily game session was not the best even though it was above 50%: 41 battles - 23 Wins = 56.10%
Thanks to 23 battle wins I won 120.25 SPS.
120.25 SPS have a value = 4.88 SWAP.HIVE but I will not convert these SPS to SWAP.HIVE because I have a goal related to SPS to achieve: 150K SPS staked.
To reach 150K SPS I still need to accumulate about 16K SPS.
I still have 2 days to try to reach Champion III league and tonight, if I have free time I will try again!
Also this season I will also use the cards I use in Modern Format in Survival Mode but only during the last day of the season.
When I have used up all my energy points I will enable all my cards to Survival Mode and play in Survival Mode until all my summoners enter Cooldown Mode.
I will follow this strategy because at the beginning of each season the cooldown reset of the cards eliminated in Survival Mode battles occurs.

La mia attività di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format
Su Splinterlands è in corso la stagione 156 del Ranked Play, stagione che è quasi giunta al termine perchè nel momento in cui sto scrivendo questo post mancano solo 2 giorni, 15 ore e poco più di 50 minuti alla fine della stagione.
Su Splinterlands è possibile giocare su tre modalità di gioco di tipo Ranked:
- Wild Format: è possibile utilizzare le carte di tutti i set, è necessario pagare il Wild Pass ogni stagione, multi-accounts, bots e battle helpers sono consentiti
- Modern Format: è possibile utilizzare solo le carte degli ultimi due set rilasciati in ordine temporale, il multi-accounts è consentito ma bots e battle helpers sono vietati
- Survival Mode: è possibile utilizzare le carte di tutti i set, multi-accounts, bots e battle helpers sono consentiti

Il mio formato preferito è il Modern Format perchè mi piace giocare manualmente su Splinterlands e perchè mi diverto solo se gioco contro giocatori umani come me.
All'inizio della stagione in corso il mio piano era di giocare molte più battaglie rispetto alla stagione precedente e il mio obiettivo di gioco era di arrivare almeno nella lega Champion III.
Purtroppo il mio piano per la stagione in corso è stato rovinato dai tanti impegni lavorativi che ho avuto nei precedenti giorni.
Con il poco tempo libero che ho avuto a disposizione ho spesso lasciato la mia barra dell'energia ferma al massimo.
Quando mancano meno di tre giorni alla fine della stagione ho giocato solo 73 battaglie.
L'unico aspetto positivo è che il mio Win rate stagionale, anche se parziale, è migliorato rispetto alla stagione precedente: 63.01% vs 50.78%.
Domenica sarò fuori casa per tutto il giorno e per questo motivo cercherò di recuperare il tempo perduto giocando il maggior numero di battaglie nella giornata di oggi e proverò anche a raggiungere la lega Champion III.
In questo post condivido una mia sessione di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format e scriverò questo post contestualmente alla mia attività di gioco e alternerò fasi di scrittura a fasi di gioco.

Nel Modern Format gioco con due accounts (libertycrypto27 e libertygame27) ma in questo post ti mostro l'attività di gioco del mio account principale che ha la collezione di carte più forte in battaglia rispetto all'altro account.
Con @libertycrypto27 nel Modern Format:
- utilizzo una collezione di carte (di proprietà + soulbound) composta da 1275 carte = 21732 BCX = 657020 CP = 3027.84$ Market Value (using Market Prices).
- ho un SPS stake = 134K (-50K delegati a libertygame27) = 84K effettivo
- non noleggio carte dal mercato e utilizzo solo le carte di mia proprietà
Prima battaglia: 28 mana disponibili - Battle Rules: Little League, Target Practice e Melee Mayhem.
La prima battaglia è stata una battaglia abbastanza equilibrata fino al round 2 poi le mie carte Doctor Blight e Dhampir Infiltrator hanno fatto la differenza e ho vinto la battaglia durante il round 5.
Seconda battaglia: 60 mana disponibili - Battle Rules: Armored Up, Counterspell e Lost Legendaries.
Questa volta vince il mio avversario che sceglie una strategia migliore della mia.
Terza battaglia: 12 mana disponibili - Battle Rules: Healed Out, Weak Magic e Taking Sides.
Ritorno alla vittoria e ritorno ad una distanza di 80 punti di rating dalla lega Champion III.
Quarta battaglia: 18 mana disponibili - Battle Rules: Weak Magic, Aimless e Deflection Field.
Quando tra le battle rules c'è Aimless cerco sempre di utilizzare almrno una carta con l'abilità Triage ma in questo caso faccio errori di posizionamento e la mia strategia non è ottimale e il mio avversario vince la battaglia.

Nella sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato ho giocato 41 battaglie.
Rispetto al punto di partenza che ti ho mostrato prima ci sono stati questi cambiamenti:

Non ho raggiunto la lega Champion III (mio obiettivo di gioco stagionale) ma sono andato molto vicino a questo mio traguardo stagionale in tre occasioni ma ho perso le battaglia decisive che mi avrebbero permesso di accedere alla lega Champion III.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere una delle tre battaglie che ho perso e che se avessi vinto mi avrebbe fatto salire in lega Champion III.
Il mio win rate nella sessione di gioco giornaliera non è stato dei migliori anche se è stato superiore al 50%: 41 battles - 23 Wins = 56.10%
Grazie a 23 vittorie in battaglia ho vinto 120.25 SPS.
120.25 SPS hanno un valore = 4.88 SWAP.HIVE ma non convertirò questi SPS in SWAP.HIVE perchè ho un obiettivo relativo agli SPS da raggiungere: 150K SPS.
Per raggiungere 150K SPS devo accumulare ancora circa 16K SPS.
Ho ancora 2 giorni per cercare di raggiungere la lega Champion III e questa sera, se avrò tempo libero ci riproverò!
Quando avrò consumato tutti i miei energy points abiliterò tutte le mie carte al Survival Mode e giocherò nel Survival Mode fino a quando tutti i miei evocatori entreranno in modalità Cooldown.
Seguirò questa strategia perchè all'inizio di ogni stagione avviene il reset del cooldown delle carte eliminate nelle battaglie del Survival Mode.
