Moon Karts: My Game Activity, My Results and Rewards in Season 29
+ Focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value (June 19 - July 3)
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
Season 30 is currently in progress on Moon Karts, which is a different season compared to previous ones because it is the first season that started with the new changes that were activated on June 25 and changed several game dynamics.

The first positive effect produced by the recent changes to the Ranking points distribution system is evident and visible when looking at the current season's leaderboards.
Indeed, the distances in ranking points between players with the fastest karts and those with the least fast karts are now much smaller, and the seasonal rewards are also more evenly distributed.
In the current season, season 30, I only started playing yesterday because from last Thursday until Sunday I was mostly traveling for family reasons.
In the previous season, season 29, on the other hand, I deliberately reduced my playing activity immediately after the changes to the distribution of ranking points were introduced because I preferred to accumulate Fuel to use in the current season.
In season 29 I mainly used this Kart Preset:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Flex Edge, Jet Flow, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
- Fuel Consumption: 260.2
In the next image you can see the game statistics of my Kart Preset.
To save Fuel I choose not to use my Power Up type NFTs but have all Power Ups always ready to be equipped.
For example, I use the MoonFire Missile only when I meet players who use it during a race.
In season 29 my final results were:
- 7th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 14836 COLONY (previous season: 5th place: 16582 COLONY)
- 9th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8474 COLONY (previous season: 7th place: 9390 COLONY)
In season 29 I earned less COLONY than in season 28: 23310 COLONY vs 25972 COLONY.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 29.
Adding up my rewards in the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of 23310 COLONY = 20.51 SWAP.HIVE = 4.78$
I started tracking my game rewards on Moon Karts starting from season 13.
In 17 seasons I have earned 246964 COLONY = 217.34 SWAP.HIVE = $45.42
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 28 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +25101.26 COLONY to my stake.
I now have 339891.55 COLONY staked.
Today I made more progress toward my goal of 500K COLONY staked: 62.96% -> 67.98%
To reach my goal I still need to accumulate 160109 COLONY staked.
I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I conclude this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens.
In the next two images you can see the changes in value in HIVE and dollars recorded by the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token over a 14-day time interval (June 19, 2025 - July 3, 2025)
In the past 14 days the HIVE token has increased in value: +3.98%
The COLONY token has decreased in value while the SCRIPT token has increased in dollar value.

Moon Karts: La mia attività di gioco e i miei risultati nella stagione 29 + Focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e SCRIPT
Sono diversi mesi che gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts che è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Su Moon Karts è in corso la stagione 30 che è una stagione diversa dalle precedenti perchè è la prima stagione ad iniziare con le nuove modifiche che sono state attivate il 25 giugno e che hanno modificato diverse dinamiche di gioco.

Il primo effetto positivo prodotto dalle recenti modifiche al sistema di distribuzione dei Ranking points è evidente e visibile guardando le leaderboards della stagione in corso.
Infatti le distanze in ranking points tra i giocatori con i kart più veloci e quelli con i kart meno veloci sono adesso molto più piccole e anche le ricompense stagionali sono distribuite in modo più equilibrato.
Nella stagione in corso, la stagione 30, ho iniziato a giocare solo ieri perchè da giovedi scorso fino a domenica sono stato quasi sempre in viaggio per motivi familiari.
Nella stagione precedente, la stagione 29, ho invece volutamente ridotto la mia attività di gioco subito dopo l'introduzione delle modifiche alla distribuzione dei ranking points perchè ho preferito accumulare Fuel da utilizzare nella stagione in corso.
Nella stagione 29 ho utilizzato principalmente questo Kart Preset:

Per risparmiare Fuel ho scelto di non utilizzare i miei NFT di tipo Power Up ma ho tutti i Power Ups sempre pronti per essere equipaggiati.
Ad esempio uso il MoonFire Missile solo quando incontro giocatori che lo usano durante una gara.
Nella stagione 29 i miei risultati finali sono stati:

Ho iniziato a monitorare le mie ricompense di gioco su Moon Karts a partire dalla stagione 13.
In 17 stagioni ho guadagnato 246964 COLONY = 217.34 SWAP.HIVE = 45.42$
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 29 (leaderboards + corse) e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +25101.26 COLONY al mio stake.

Mi piace monitorare il valore di mercato dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o in cui ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e dei token SCRIPT.
Nella prossime due immagini puoi vedere le variazioni di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrate dal token COLONY e dal token SCRIPT in un intervallo di tempo di 14 giorni (19 giugno 2025 - 3 luglio 2025)
Negli ultimi 14 giorni il token HIVE ha registrato un aumento di valore: +3.98%
Il token COLONY ha registrato una diminuzione di valore mentre il token SCRIPT ha aumentato il suo valore in dollari.
