In my Wednesdaywalk post this week , i showed a frog in the pond but with a 135mm lens it still remained very small .
And so today i went back with the bigger gun my Sigma 150-500mm lens .
And just as i thought, a lot of frog noise in the pond but no frogs to be seen .🐸
A bit dissapointed but i decided to do a small walk in the area and return later to try again .
this photo was taken this morning with the 50mm rokkor lens, it grows in our inner garden from the appartment building. it's a Calycanthus .
Back to the pond i spotted these poppies but the wind was to hard to get a decent close up shot
Walking towards the pond i spotted this wood pigeon on the bridge over the pond .
While i was trying to get closer to get a better shot , someone closed his car door and it was gone ....
Standing on the bridge the frogs were still making a lot of noise but no visual contact at least not from my point of view.
and the Physocarpus. 'Diabolo' was still flowering a closer shot of the flowers can be found in my wednesdaywalk post .
reminds me of #alwaysaflower , wonder how @dswigle is doing these days haven't seen her online for a while.
and another water lillie , and no that is not a frog on that leaf .
Finally there is the noise maker
ohh and there is another one right in the middle of the pond .. +/- 6 meters away
let me crop it for you so you can see it
And another one no wonder they made that much noise
Lets zoom in a bit and crop the image
this one was sitting closer to the edge of the pond taken at 400mm, at +/- 4 meters distance
right next to a water lilly flower taken at 150mm
and another one and i could have probably spotted more but i needed to pick up the wife again
this one was taken at 400mm and cropped and no i didn't bring a tripod or remote trigger
But the good news is we found the frogs / toads and my new lens should ariving next week so more reason for me to go out and take photos and I'm going to bother you with it . 😂
