I was smiling a little bit while taking the photos of this plant, it is because it reminded me of my childhood, and how as I grew older I now can see things differently. They use to make us happy and laugh, but now I can admire the beauty of this flower and the plant.
This is the Triumfetta is a genus of plants in the family Malvaceae. Burbark is a common name for plants in this genus. I forget the name of this plant in my own language. hahah But I still can feel the joy of using the fruit of this plant as a toy.
But let's enjoy the beauty of the flower of this plant first, because this is also the first time I enjoyed it when I take the photos as well as editing and making the post today. It has bright yellow petals, and also the yellow stigmata. The flower is very small,, but it is understandable if you look at the size of the plant itself.
Now you see the flower side by side with its fruit. the fruit itself is covered with many thorns around it. Maybe it is the way it spreads its seed around, so whenever an animal rubs their body into the plant, the old fruit will stick to the body which will eventually help spread the seed of the plant. Do you know how I use it as a toy?
Well, when I was a kid, especially during elementary school, my friend and I used to collect the old fruit of this plant. and then throw them into my other's friend uniform or even on their head. They will sticked to the uniform and we will have a good laugh, and a little fight. hahah
But the one on the hair is pretty bad, as it entangles the hairs, and it is a little bit hard to get rid of. Just don't call me a bully, as I was also the victim of my friend's trick. it just the way we used to play back when I was a kid, a little rough.
