It seems that it has been a long time I have not made any post here in the community, and this is the time for me to make my post contribution to the community. This time I have two small species that I want to share with all of you here.
The first species that I have today is this small fly that I photographed on a coffee leaf. I am quite happy to be able to take several photos of this fly, and how it cooperated to stay still and give me a chance to take the photo was awesome. Although the reflective coffee leaf bounces off too much light to my camera sensor, it is a little bit hard for me to edit the photo without making the leaf overexposed (also I think my editing skill still sucks hahah)
I could not find the exact species of this fly, but considering the place and also the color of its abdomen, I think this fly comes from the muscidae or house fly family.
Then the next species that I have is this interesting moth, that lay flat almost pressed to the leaf it was resting on.
The brown color of this moth really makes it look like another animal poop that hardens and dries on the green leaf. I took several photos, and then after that decided to poke a little bit so see what the face and the other body looked like. But I was not ready for the surprise as it flew really fast after I poked it. haha
