This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
I know that fly has a compound eye, which means that their eyes actually consist of so many smaller visual units, which then connects to their brian to give them the overall eye sight toward the world around them. Thinking about that is already scary, like you have no blind spot, as so many eyes are watching every move. I have read that because they have the compound eyes that make our move when we try to smack them look like a slow motion that is so easy for them to evade. Now you know the reason why it is so hard to get rid of them when they are around the house isn't it?
But this soldier flies, gave me another scary look with its fake eye piece on its compound eyes. It is just the coloration that makes it look like it has a different set of eyes as you can see below.
But then that fake eye is already scare me a little bit, just like an assassin that is try to fins the small flaw so that it can kill you in one strike.
I am so happy that this fly is so small and doesn't have any killing weapon that could literally could kill you in an instant, if not than I would not dare to get photograph of this fly.
