This brown grasshopper was camouflaged very well in the dark green leaves it was resting on. It even hiding behind a small branch, and I need to bend the said branch to be able to the photos of this grasshopper.
if you look at the first photo, it looks so sturdy, with its next covered with some kind of shield. also, looking at the pattern on its eyes, I wonder what it saw with this kind of compound eyes with different colors. Did it see a different spectrum of color?
Now look at the portion of its body. Look at the strong leg this grasshopper has. Nature wonderful creation.
