Hello my loving Asean Hive community,
Welcome to my new post. How are you friends? I think everything will be fine. Today is Saturday, so what are you doing? Actually, today I'm planning to go to a village near my hometown. However, I won't be going anywhere today because I have to help my father with work. In the middle of next month, we will be celebrating the Myanmar New Year in our country.
Before the New Year, we need to clean the house and fix the damage. Today is my weekend, so I'm free, and my dad is free too. On Monday, I am not free because I have to teach some students. So I thought I'd do some house cleaning today. Today, my father and I painted the front door together.
There are too many iron rust on our gate door. Normally, we repaint that gate door once a year. However, my health was bad last year, so my family had to focus on me, so we didn't paint that gate door either. This year, my health has returned to normal, so I painted the gate door with my father. The metal is also exposed to rainwater and has not been painted for about two years. I think that's why the rust is coming up. These rusts are very ugly, as I showed above.
The materials I used were 905 thinner, paint roll, and color gloss enamel paint. We used the UPG brand of color gloss enamel paint. Our gate door is soft green and the barbed wire is silver, so normally we buy two cans of paint. However, the area where I live has been cut off from transportation due to political circumstances, so goods are being lost. So, since the soft green color can was out of stock, I only got the silver color, and it was twice the price of the regular one.
My father mixed silver color gloss enamel paint with 905 thinner as needed in the can. Our gate door is a soft green color, but we only purchased silver color paint, so we decided to use silver color for our gate door as well. But I think silver color is more beautiful than soft green color.
First, my dad and I used sandpaper and iron brush to remove the iron rust.
First, my father went up high and painted the barbed wire.
I was changing the soft green color gate door to silver color at that time. At first, I was worried that changing the color to silver would look ugly. Actually, it doesn't look ugly.

After,
Thank you for reading my blog.🍇
