Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
How do you spend your All Soul's Day? For me, this year feels a little different. Since I’m not home in Leyte, I wasn’t able to visit my departed loved ones in the cemetery. At first, I felt a bit sad about it because this day has always been special for me, a time to visit, light candles, and be with family as we remember those who have gone ahead of us. 🙏
The church was calm and full of people offering prayers for their loved ones too. I felt the solemn atmosphere, everyone was quiet, lighting candles, whispering prayers, and remembering. These moments always remind me how short life is and how important it is to cherish every moment with the people we love.
But even if I’m far, I reminded myself that what matters most is not where you are, but what’s inside your heart. So I lit some candles here, offered prayers, and had a Mass offered for them. 🙏

After the Mass, I decided to pass by the market to buy some food. I bought sweet corn and lettuce again, my usual simple and healthy favorites and also lechon manok for dinner.
When I got home, I cooked the sweet corn, washed the lettuce, and prepared my dinner. The smell of the sweet corn filled the air, and I couldn’t wait to eat! 🤭

After dinner, my cousin messaged me and invited me to come over since they were having a small get-together. I brought some of the cooked sweet corn to share with them. Even though I didn’t bring the leftover lechon manok because it was only a little 🤭, I was happy to see that they already had plenty of food like biko, pancit, and adobong manok. ❤️
We also had a few bottles of San Mig Apple and, of course, karaoke time! It was such a fun night full of laughter, music, and stories. ☺️

I went home around 11 PM, smiling and thankful. Though I couldn’t visit the cemetery this year, my heart felt full. I was able to honor my loved ones in my own way through prayer, reflection, and being with family.
Have a Blessed Sunday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!
