Happy Sunday Hivers!
My sister and her husband are currently working abroad and have already been there for two years. They decided to buy a townhouse so they would have something tangible as a result of their hard work. They’ve heard many stories of people who spent years working overseas but didn’t manage to achieve anything substantial, and they don’t want the same to happen to them. Their goal is to gradually build something for themselves while they are working abroad.
The kind of house they wanted had to be easily accessible, close to the highway, the mall, and the market. Luckily, they found a townhouse that met all their requirements.
One time, my sister announced to us that they now had a house. She asked if we could check it for her since they were abroad. Of course, being supportive siblings, we set a day to go and see the house.
The subdivision isn’t very large, and there are only a few houses compared to the bigger ones. What we immediately appreciated when we entered was the wide roads inside the subdivision, which make it easy for homeowners to move around. Also, all the houses are detached, giving each home more privacy.
All houses in that certain subdivision are two-story. This house has three bedrooms, two smaller ones and one master bedroom. Upstairs, there is one bathroom, and there is also a bathroom on the ground floor.
They’re planning to have a fence built for added security, but they thought of talking to their neighbor to see if they could split the cost since the fence would also benefit them. Hopefully, the neighbor agrees so they can save on expenses.
Aside from the indoor kitchen, there’s also an outdoor kitchen, which is really nice. There’s enough space for a garden, and if they decide to buy a car in the future, there’s also enough room for parking.
Overall, they made a good choice getting this house. It’s only a few meters from the highway, close to the mall, and near the market. It’s really a wise move for them, at least they are slowly building something from all their hard work abroad.
