Greetings Hivers, welcome to the Weekly ASEAN Hive "Hot Goss", where I @justinparke dig up false ASEAN Hive rumors and spread even more, but all in satirical fun and support of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

A MYSTERIOUS STREET FIND in Vietnam has created a lot of interest and inquiry. Some folks thing it might be half of a dragon leg, and there definitely are three claw or toe-looking things attached to it. A few locals have even stepped forward to offer to cook it and turn it into a delicious dish.
One of our very own ASEAN Hivers is in possession of this artifact because of the classic finders-keepers rule. Until someone coughs up the money for a DNA test or is willing to bite it, it's gonna be hard to know what this thing is.

SYMMETRICAL MEALS are a big trend in Indonesia lately, and many folks believe this is good for general health. I guess symmetry on the table means symmetry in the body, but I don't really know the science behind this.
In the photo you'll even notice the spoons are opposite each other, and even diners are meant to eat symmetrically, so whoever is on the left is going to have to use the cutlery left-handed as well.

FELINE PARALYSIS is on the rise in Southeast Asia, and modern science has no explanation for it. Typically cats will use extreme reflexes or claws, and sometimes both, to escape a dangerous situation, but now they seem to have learned to play possum.
It certainly requires less effort to play dead than to bite, hiss, scratch, and run, and perhaps it's this simple, or it could be a strange medical condition like fainting goats, permanently embedded into the DNA.
Until Next Time ASEAN Hivers....
Please remember this curation is merely fictional satire, so don't take anything I write too seriously.
