March 17th ➡️ March 24th, 2025Southeast Asians are among the most creative people in the world, at least in my humble opinion. This creativity is particularly evident when it comes to repurposing things, whether it be something as simple as turning old innertubes into tie-down straps or something as complex as using a motorcycle engine to power a water pump. I have seen so many examples of creative repurposing in this part of the world, especially so in the lower income countries like here in Cambodia.
We have done similar challenges to this before, but as there are always new members joining and our lives are always changing, it's good to re-use old challenge themes to both challenge our veterans and give newbies a very accessible challenge to participate. Alright, I hope it's clear enough, simply share your repurposed items and kudos to anyone using a prehistoric bird to trim their hedges like in the GIF.

This challenge was an enlightening one, and it provided with some valuable insight into the attitudes and values of my fellow ASEAN Hivers. Of course I expected family to rank high on everyone's list, but I loved the different approaches to this challenge from all the participants. I like cats but I adore dogs. I like watching pet videos on the internet. They make me smile and happy. This is my love, Thor. He is my youngest baby boy. I love our morning greetings. He is gentle with me but harsh with his dad. He slept at the end of our bed when he was young. Now that he is big, we kept him in this big fenced cage where he could run and play. My heart feels amused seeing him every day. I love you dog forever.

Happiness is what we all want in our life. How can we say we are happy? Is it a person, thing, a place or events? Is it grand or simple? Lets look within and find it. Happiness defers from everyone. Our principle varies on how we see it. It is the matter of the heart. Yes, your heart,my heart that feels. I could say, I can be happy easily. Maybe because, I know much better now how to appreciate even the simplest thing I see around.
