     This challenge is sure to please book readers of all kinds, whether oldschool paperback or the modern e-books that have become commonplace, any type of book is fair game for this challenge. Fiction, non-fiction, mystery thriller or educational, any type of book is acceptable, just be sure that you provide some information about each book that will help any potential reader to find it for themselves. Provide a review, why you read the book, any relevant information you want to add.

     Comic books, cook books, even magazines can work for this challenge, even favorite books from your childhood, they don't need to be English language, but of course your post does so we can all easily enjoy it. As always, a combination of engaging photography and text is the key to success, and a creative original approach always helps too. I look forward to your challenge entries......

     Things have been a little hectic at home this week, and because of this I haven't been able to give the challenges as much attention as I'd like. However, this challenge provided us a very tempting dish for the 1st prize. Our 3rd prize winner somehow overlooked the vegetarian-ness of this challenge, but this dish is nonetheless worth your time.

ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #128 (Vegetarian Voyage): Vegetable and Tofu Curry

I am so lucky today because I have some helping hands in doing my dish. My husband did the shopping for the ingredients. He bought the vegetables and spices early this morning at the mini market near in our place. My daughter @tegoshei had only one class this morning and it was before our breakfast. So, she helped me in preparing the ingredients for the curry which will be our viand for the lunch. She's also the one who took some of the photos while I was cooking. It's a family team effort today so I hope it will be much yummier. Here's how I did it...

Our 1st prize winner was technically the only vegetarian entry, so I am glad to give the 2nd prize rewards to @arashi0416 in addition to the 1st prize rewards. Even though the 3rd prize entry was not vegetarian, I am still happy to give the 3rd prize for participation.

ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #128 : “Stewed Pork, Kare-Kare and Bam-i”

Today, I stewed a pork with veggies. Stewed pork is we named here, “Linat-an or Lin at-ang baboy. Linat-an is a Visayan word. When you hear this viand in Mindanao, expect a tender meat and the milky color of the soup as it is added with yam. You can also expect the tempting aroma of the lemongrass that makes you wanna sip immediately especially during rainy season. It’s a perfect combination of rice.
