Buenos días, hoy me integro a la iniciativa propuesta por @damarysvibra, titulada: Evaluar para avanzar, en la que sugiere que hagamos una evaluación de nuestro emprendimiento a lo largo de este año para poder determinar los avances y limitaciones posibles.

Entre las preguntas planteadas para orientarnos están las siguientes y me gustaría enfocarme en ellas:

1.- ¿Qué te funcionó, y qué no te funcionó en tu emprendimiento?

Tengo en la actualidad dos emprendimientos activos, que creé en la época de pandemia… los pausé por un tiempo y los reactivé recientemente. Cada uno a su manera tuvo sus desatinos y sus aciertos a lo largo del año. Hay que considerar que nos encontramos en medio de una crisis económica que no ha mejorado, pero aun así continuamos trabajando y perseverando para crecer.

Mi emprendimiento de comidas y postres lo retomé el año pasado, y el de trabajos escolares lo retomé casi a mitad de este año, prácticamente finalizando el año escolar anterior. Éste se ha tornado lento en la integración de contenido ya que en la época de pandemia por alguna razón de tiempo, no organicé correctamente los archivos digitales y realmente, necesitaba poner orden en el desorden para refrescar mis conocimientos ya que se trata de material muy extenso, preciso y delicado.

Ese paso me llevó bastante tiempo pero ya lo concreté, sólo que me conllevó a integrarme un poco tarde al público durante este lapso, y aún voy lento con ese proceso a pesar de la difusión. Espero que para el segundo lapso la demanda crezca, y de aquí en adelante, ser más organizada con los archivos de trabajo para ir directo al material necesario cuando necesite orientarme.

Con respecto al emprendimiento de comidas y postres, ha habido momentos muy productivos pero también caídas. Este trabajo tiene sus pros y sus contras, por un lado a mí me gusta hacer todo yo misma para no sentir el estrés de dirigir a alguien más, pero siempre es necesario tener más manos ayudando en muchos casos, desde la mano de obra hasta el proceso de venta y entregas. Lo más delicado es confiar y arriesgarse a delegar responsabilidades en alguien más y que por alguna razón no se cumpla con el compromiso en su totalidad, las caídas pueden ser fatales y afectar el proceso. Eso me sucedió meses atrás y me costó reponerme, pero ya estoy retomando el rumbo y cuidando este tipo de estrategias que suelen ser delicadas.

Definitivamente delegar funciones importantes en otros no me funcionó este año, y el trabajo en equipo con los lineamientos adecuados me funciona mejor. Asignarles responsabilidades de gran envergadura a otros sin tener un soporte económico sólido que nos respalde ante cualquier falla, puede poner en riesgo toda la producción.

2.- ¿Consideras que es necesario soltar algo de él para seguir avanzando?

De mis emprendimientos no soltaría nada, ellos tienen todo lo necesario para crecer y ser exitosos. Pero de mí, en lo personal, si soltaría ciertas inseguridades recientes, y confiaría más en mi capacidad de hacer algunas cosas sola para no delegar en otros. Hay que romper esquemas para avanzar.

Good morning, today I'm joining the initiative proposed by @damarysvibra, titled: Evaluate to Move Forward, which suggests we evaluate our businesses throughout this year to determine our progress and potential limitations.

Among the questions posed to guide us are the following, and I'd like to focus on them:

1.- What worked, and what didn't work, in your business?

I currently have two active businesses, which I created during the pandemic… I paused them for a while and recently reactivated them. Each one, in its own way, had its successes and failures throughout the year. It's important to consider that we're in the midst of an economic crisis that hasn't improved, but we continue working and persevering to grow.

I restarted my food and dessert business last year, and I resumed my schoolwork business almost halfway through this year, practically at the end of the previous school year. Content integration has been slow because, during the pandemic, due to time constraints, I didn't properly organize my digital files. I really needed to bring order to the chaos to refresh my knowledge, as the material is extensive, precise, and sensitive.

That step took me quite a while, but I've finally accomplished it. However, it meant I was a bit late in reaching my audience during this period, and I'm still slow with that process despite the promotion. I hope that demand will increase in the second term, and from now on, I'll be more organized with my work files so I can go directly to the necessary material when I need guidance.

Regarding the food and dessert business, there have been very productive moments, but also setbacks. This job has its pros and cons. On the one hand, I like to do everything myself to avoid the stress of managing someone else, but it's always necessary to have extra hands helping in many cases, from labor to the sales and delivery process. The most delicate aspect is trusting and taking the risk of delegating responsibilities to someone else, only to have the commitment not be fully met for some reason. These setbacks can be fatal and affect the entire process. That happened to me months ago, and it was hard to recover, but I'm getting back on track and being more careful with these kinds of strategies, which tend to be delicate.

Delegating important functions to others definitely didn't work for me this year, and teamwork with the right guidelines works better for me. Assigning large-scale responsibilities to others without solid financial backing to cover any failures can jeopardize the entire production.

2.- Do you think it's necessary to let go of something to keep moving forward?

I wouldn't let go of anything in my ventures; they have everything they need to grow and succeed. But personally, I would let go of some recent insecurities and trust more in my ability to do things on my own instead of delegating to others. We have to break the mold to move forward.
