Namaste to all gardeners and plant lovers!

Remember my tomato plants from this season? This time I planted a tomato in the most natural way by crushing it with my hands and planting it in little loose soil near the edge of a pot. This pot is also kept in a place where it gets good sunlight for about 4-5 hours a day.
All the seeds germinated in about 8 days, and after about 20 days, almost all of them had true leaves, which is good growth. However, I had to wait for a few more days before transplanting them, as I have noticed many times that transplanting very small plants drastically reduces their chances of survival.
In the picture above, you can see the growth of these plants after about 40 days. Now most of them have grown to about 6 to 8 inches in height and this is the right time when they need transplantation, but very carefully because their roots should not be damaged.
Here, with the help of a gardening trowel, I dug the soil a little deep and took out this plant and you can see that its main root is completely intact.
Now comes the turn to prepare it for planting in another bigger pot. Since the root development of a tomato also takes place from its main stem and this plant gets a lot of nutrition and strength from its roots, hence I want to plant it at some extra depth, for which I will have to remove some of its upper leaves along with its true leaves.
Here in the before-after, you can see that after removing some of the newer sub stems on top with the true leaves, I can now plant them an extra 3 inches deeper. Remember last year when I made 2 reusable grow bags? I planted some of these baby tomato plants in those two grow bags at a distance of about 8 inches.
These are the total 8 plants that I transplanted yesterday evening and just by looking at them, you can understand that I have kept most of them under the soil. I have read a lot about this method and it seems that this time these plants will grow very well because the quality of the soil is also good, for the first time my plants have been sown at the right depth and this time I have also learned some tips which I will apply on them as they grow big.
