Greetings #hivegarden community

Every day nature shows us more and more its power with the goodness that it gives us through its vegetation, in this case with trees that have among their leaves, fruits and branches to give us medicines. I got to know the Neem plant a long time ago because near my parents' house there is a square with trees based on this plant.

This plant is recommended for human consumption in tea, also to use it as a topical on the skin in different situations...I always recommend that the use of plants as natural medicine should be supervised by experts in these types of medicines, do not do it because they recommend it, you have to be careful about it.

I was always struck by its greenness in very dry times. Well, this plant has that characteristic, it stays very green in drought and it is one of the blessings in the squares or places where it is found. It provides a lot of shade, where there are several trees of this type you can feel the breeze and the freshness in spite of the sun that is appreciated in those moments.

In the patio of my parents' house there is one, I remember when my mother planted it some years ago, she was still living in her house...now that she is no longer there, the tree is lush, she never got to see it, how much it grew.

I make this reference of this tree because my lemon plant for being a citrus tree was not spared from scales and other insects, I took the permission to ask for guidance to the friend @abneagro expert in this branch, I passed him some photos of the state of the leaves of the lemon tree and he made me several suggestions.

He recommended several types of preparations to use, one of them was to make a macerate with the leaves of the Neem plant, since I already know the tree and where to find it, I set out to collect some branches, only leaves, the plant I chose had no fruit.

I took a bucket, the leaves, a black bag.

In the bucket I proceeded to place at least 4 liters of water where the leaves are poured, these leaves in the water, should be taken to a dark place; as inside the house I do not have a place where I can have the bucket for several days in darkness, I proceeded to place a black bag that covers the entire bucket; this preparation should be kept for at least seven days in complete darkness until the water is dyed dark, this color is what the leaves give off.

The suggestion is that after passing the days of maceration time, a second step should be made to use it...it has its conditions: for being a natural product, very natural the action in the plant is slow, in addition it should be placed in hours of the morning that still the sun is not strong or if on the contrary it is in the afternoon that it is after five o'clock in the afternoon.

As I have just made the preparation, I must wait the suggested days to make the application to the lemon plant. Soon I will inform you about the process to save my lemon tree.

I just learned that the Neem Tree can help heal broken branches! In our place, we use its leaves to keep mosquitoes away. We burn a few leaves, and it’s very effective in repelling them.

I learn something new today. Thanks for this.💚

Hello, for me it is also new, I had only heard of its benefits for humans, not to heal other trees from pests.
However I am still learning with it, I just prepare the macerate, then comes another part which is the application.

Greetings

Saludos
