Arcade Colony: My thoughts on buying more SCRIPT token.
I have been playing moon-karts for quite some time and checking on the tokenomics aspect of the game. Currently, the game has 2 tradable tokens in Hive-Engine i.e Colony and Script. I do get colony from the airdrop but currently I do not see any mechanism to get script without buying it. So I decided to buy Script, because having Script can help me to get the colony tokens.
The best thing is that if you stake Script tokens with the cardsn you are able to generate the FUEL in the game, Though there is no direct tradable market of the fuel (like Hive-Engine) it is still tradable by peer-to-peer transaction as I witnesses in Discord. So by selling Fuel, you can buy colony and this way one can buy colony by increasing the card and Script stake.
Also to be able to earn colony from the game, one need to take part in the multiplayer battles in the game. To take part in multiplayer battle, one need to burn the Fuel and in this case Fuel is getting generated inhouse so there is no need to buy fuel from outside to try the luck at winning colony.
Though Fuel is not tradable today by any official Exchange or game mechanism but community has made a strong demand for Fuel to be available in the Hive-engine. If it happen so, then it will be hassle free sale of the extra fuel generated.
If , due to some reason , it look like that staking does not look profitable then there is always option to buy packs using your Script token or swap them for the colony using the deisel pool.
At current scenario, staking Script look like a win-win situation.
Need to improve
I am still taking part in the multiplayer battle, and look like my finish time is not at all competitive. To be competitive I need to add gears on my Kart and test on Single player mode. I already have some tech cards but I did not equipped them yet. I guess I will equip them in the weekend and do a performance testing that how they are able to improve my finish time in the track.
