I always enjoy my Sunday mornings around here. It's always a bit quieter outside so I can enjoy some good coffee in the backyard. I have a few more lemons that are getting ripe on the tree and my tomatoes are starting to produce again a lot more heavily as things are starting to warm up a little. Time to get into my weekly giveaway like I have done each Sunday for over a year now!
First a quick review of some of the most popular tipping tokens used in our Hive ecosystem. Looks like PIZZA came out on top as the most most popular! Thanks for all of the input everyone, I'm putting together a post about tipping tokens and all of this data will definitely help out! Many people mentioned more than one, so I used up to two choices per person to make things more interesting.
PIZZA
I have used PIZZA as a tipping token since I started posting on Hive over two years ago now. I never did a real deep dive into the token until recently and found out that there is a power up day every 14th day of the month. Also those who hold sufficient PIZZA tokens staked can receive curations as well. Exactly how it all works I need to figure out before I write up my final post on the tokens! DUO
Many chose DUO token, which is greatly appreciated. I'm of course a bit biased on this one, but it's the tipping token that rewards you for using it. You give a tip to someone and you get the same amount in your account as well. You need to have 500 staked DUO to unlock this call, and the more staked DUO you have the bigger the tip becomes!

BBH
This is a great tipping token from @bradleyarrow that not only allows tipping but a drip of tokens each Saturday depending on how many you hold. I currently have 50K of these which allows me 50 tips calls a day, which is great because I never exhaust them! LOLZ
I have used LOLZ since I started here on Hive just like PIZZA. I even started stacking enough and delegating other tokens to the project to earn more LOLZ. I still have a lot of tokens delegating to the as a matter of fact! I currently have 6,250 of them roughly, and for more info on the token you can check their site: https://lolztoken.com . I give these out every day, I think I have ten calls a day if I remember correctly. PIMP
PIMP is a token that I personally really like and I'm working towards getting 50K staked this year. You can get multiple calls a day depending on how much you stake, and I believe the first call starts at 1000 staked PIMP. These tokens are backed by physical silver and by BTC as well, which is a pretty cool idea in my eyes. Thanks to my friends @davedickeyyall , @geneeverett , @silverd510 , @silvertop and @whywhy for this recommendation!
GIFU
GIFU here on Hive Engine isn't really GIFU, it's swap.gifu. GIFU itself exists on the Binance Chain, however if you pile up enough swap.gifu here on Hive you can get a curation daily and at one million tokens held you can tip 20 swap.gifu to someone every day. I only have about 100K of these, but I'm working towards that one million mark! Thanks for this recommendation by @lumpiadobo , @davedickeyyall and @logen9f !
BEER
BEER is very commonly used tipping token that I don't really understand all that well to be honest. I know I have one call a day, but I'll have to do a deep dive this week sometime to figure it out as part of my research. I haven't seen it used as much lately except for by some of us who have been here for awhile now. Thanks for the recommendation to @alexvan and @tengolotodo !
LUV
LUV is another token that I have used for a very, very long time. Once you have 750 of them you can use ten calls a day and also earn the title of love legend. It gets you a badge on Peakd! Prices on this token has been really low as of late so for less that $0.04 you could become a love legend! INDEED

LADY
LADY is commonly used by the ladies of Hive. I personally haven't used it since I'm a man and the fit just felt a little funny. I believe this one was created by @silversaver888 , a good friend of mine as well. I do have a small stack of these and I always keep them when I'm tipped! Thanks to @katriel1 for this recommendation.
HUESO
I hate to admit it, but I don't know a whole lot about this project. It is used by many of my friends in the Latin American world and HEUSO translated to English means bone. Another I will have to do a deep dive on before I finish up my tokens post! Thanks for the recommendation to @neblomax !
HBIT
HBIT is a call you can use to mine HBIT and a few potential bonus tokens. You can use it on your own posts or someone else's. It's been around for some time, but I'm sad to say I never really understood the details. I'll have to look into this one a little closer as well! Thanks to @knightmarey !
Thanks everyone for all of the input. It's a good start to get my post rolling this week! I have always been a fan of tipping tokens, some are of course more valuable than others. When I put together my final post I'll have costs included in there as well. Thanks again!
