Hello Fellow Splinterlands Summoners
Within two weeks, this season will end and it means we will entering October 2025 which is the new Conclave Arcana Reward cards introduced into our selection. It means there won't be anymore opportunity to get Rebellion reward cards.
They will gone for good.. Well not for good, but you can't not get them as reward from your gameplay. You can only buy them in the market, not as a free one.
I realize that and I know very well that my time is up. I have no more time to get Glints for buying Rebellion Reward cards, so I have to decide now that today will be the last day I get Rebellion Rare reward cards. I have stopped buying the common cards, and tomorrow there will be no more buying rare cards.
In the remaining time up to the last day, I will focus every Glint I have for the epic one. I already give up on the Legendaries, I am just being realistic here.
Anyway before you have some funny Idea about how pessimistic I am, I want to tell you all that I only play Gold foil frays in Brawl. So I only buy Gold Foil reward cards, regular foil means nothing for me.
These are the Rebellion reward cards I have in my collection. Overall they are not great, but I believe I have them more than I need to be competitive enough in my Rank Battle. I play in Silver-Gold League, so I guess their levels are enough for me.
I have 170.496 GLINTS today and I decide I will spend them all to buy the gold foil rare ones. I can get 11 cards which cost me all at 165.000 GLINTS. I do not have optimism that it will be a good ending, however I believe whatever the result will be, I must accept it and I have to move on and prepare for the next phase.

I know the purchased cards are not perfect. One of the cards that I aim is not there, and I have some cards that I even do not need them anymore. However I could say this is a good purchase, and I think I can accept it and I will start to focus on the Epic without looking back to Rare and Common.
The Result
These are the updated stock after I have purchased those 11 Gold Foil Rares. From 12 cards, I can level up 4 cards. That is why I say overall that purchase is a good one, because it enables me to upgrade 4 cards.
So here are those 4 lucky cards
I am very happy I could bring my Drybone Megalodon up to level 5. The change from the level up is not something that significant, however Drybone Megalodon is one of my frequently used main tank for Fire Element.
There is no guarantee that I could use this card for another 2 years, maybe only for a few months before new edition will be released. There could be a better main tank from the newer edition, but for those few months, I am very happy having this level 5 Drybone Megalodon.
The second one is Commander Slade. This one is my favorite too, although recently people are trying to anticipate this card by setting up a mega magic attack LoL. Same as Drybone Megalodon, the effect from level up is not something that significant, but I am happy about it.
The third one is my target, so this is an excellent achievement for me. Level 4 Quilliun Legionary has that void ability. Now this dude can be a good tank too, because he is weak against magic before.
I used to put him behind, which is a good wall to kill some sneak attackers. However recently I often get some opponents with sneaking magic attack. So that void ability would be great too against those mages.
The last one is Janni Rebel. She gets a level up which gives her an extra health point. I was a fan of her, but recently not anymore. I see some other alternate meta which makes me not needing her anymore. But still it is a great addition to my selection list.
The Regret
The last thing I want to share here is my regret. I could not bring Dark Arborist to level 4.
I just need one more copy, but the opportunity didn't come. RNG denied it lol
If she reaches Level 4, she will have that 2 magic damage. It is very important especially against tanks that have void ability. Many units have void ability nowadays, it makes Dark Arborist unable to hurt them with 1 magic damage.
Anyway, I can not win all right? At least I have fulfilled most of my targets here, and I will try to be content about this. I think that's for today post... Thank you for your visit here. See you in Splinterlands Rank Battles!!!
