I wasn't going to do another cherry blossom post, but you guys liked my last so let's do a few more. These are again from the small farming community where my in-laws live. We were there a few days for the spring break, but we are back home now. None of these are quite as impressive as what I already showed you, but they might give you more of an idea or how the cherry blossoms are spread all over the town.
These are again from my smartphone. We came here to relax and let my kids play with their grandparents, so I really didn't even think to bring my dslr. Oh well. Next time I won't be so mindless.
Anyway, let's start with a nearby shrine.
You can see, even while we were here the blossoms were starting to fall. Yes, the photo isn't centered. I had kids on my arm so it wasn't easy to take these! Anyway, the trees were only at peak for about 2-3 days, then they started coming down. I don't know how it was in the rest of Japan, but in this small town the Yoshino Cherry didn't last long this year!
Still, there is a lot of beauty in watching the blossom petals rain down and then seeing the ground covered.
Even around the fields they have cherry blossoms to cheer up the farmers as they work. These here hasn't started to come down yet like the ones at the shrine.
Here is in back of that line of trees you see there.
There is a park not far off that we also went to.
And finally, let's give a close up shot!
