[ESP-ING] Let's learn to value time || Being Human

Una de las cosas que veo en estos días que no le damos importancia es el tiempo, el cual tiene un valor muy grande, pues el tiempo pasa rápido y de un momento a otro todo cambia, ayer mis hijos estaban pequeños y hoy ya son adolescentes hombre y mujer independientes, ayer yo era una adolescente y hoy ya velo por una familia.

El tiempo es un recurso que no todos sabemos apreciar, y es que andamos viviendo una vida ajetreada, corriendo del trabajo, al colegio de los chicos, al gimnasio, las compras, la comida, un compromiso y luego otro, y el día se nos va y no sabemos ni como, al llegar la noche para disfrutar de nuestra familia, simplemente estamos cansado, agotados, y lo único que queremos es llegar y descansar.

Una de las cosas que he pensado es que debemos hacer conciencia de que el tiempo que tenemos en esta tierra es limitado no podemos recuperar las horas, los minutos ni los segundos, esto es irrecuperable, siempre pensamos que tendremos tiempo para hacer una u otra cosa y esto es mentira, siempre recuerdo una profesora que hazlo ahora hazlo ya, cuando podemos hacer algo es mejor hacerlo de inmediato sin procrastinar porque no sabremos si luego podremos hacerlo.

Al escribir estas líneas no pude dejar de recordar a mi padre, ya que un día antes de su muerte el llamó a mi esposo para decirle algo, preguntarle algo que ya no recuerdo, luego mi esposo antes de colgar me dice que si quiero hablar con él, mi respuesta fue no dile que mañana voy a la casa y lo veo, así que en mi mente pensé que el tiempo era eterno que nada podía pasar, y desaproveche esa última llamada con mi padre, pude hacerlo y no lo hice.

Al verdaderamente valorar el tiempo podemos poner en una balanza las cosas importantes para este momento, debemos priorizar y enfocarnos en lo que realmente nos hace sentir plenos, realizados, y enfocarnos en todo lo que verdaderamente nos aporta valor y en las personas realmente importantes para nosotros, en mi caso eso me enseñó a priorizar más a cada uno de mis familiares, ellos son muy importantes para mi y merecen estar siempre en primer lugar.

Nadie sabe el día y la hora que dejará de existir por eso debemos priorizar nuestro tiempo y distribuirlo de la mejor manera sin perderlo facilmente, estos últimos días he visto muchas personas conocidas que han muerto de imprevisto, ataques al corazón, derrame cerebral entre otros, muertes súbitas, quizás estas personas tampoco se esperaban que el tiempo se fuera así de rápido y dejaron de hacer y decir tantas cosas, que quisieron haber dicho o hecho.

Por ello les invito a distribuir bien su tiempo y dedicar el mayor tiempo posible a lo más importante para ustedes, es una manera de estar felices y agradecidos, recuerda que el tiempo que se va no vuelve..

One of the things that I see these days that we do not give importance to is time, which has a very great value, because time passes quickly and from one moment to another everything changes, yesterday my children were small and today they are already teenagers, independent men and women, yesterday I was a teenager and today I am already veiled by a family.

Time is a resource that not all of us know how to appreciate, and we are living a busy life, running from work, to the kids' school, to the gym, shopping, food, one commitment and then another, and the day goes by and we don't even know how, when the night comes to enjoy our family, we are simply tired, exhausted, and the only thing we want is to arrive and rest.

One of the things I have thought is that we must be aware that the time we have on this earth is limited we can not recover the hours, minutes or seconds, this is unrecoverable, we always think we will have time to do one thing or another and this is a lie, I always remember a teacher that do it now do it now, when we can do something it is better to do it immediately without procrastinating because we do not know if we can do it later.

While writing these lines I could not help but remember my father, because one day before his death he called my husband to tell him something, ask him something that I no longer remember, then my husband before hanging up tells me that if I want to talk to him, my answer was no tell him that tomorrow I will go to the house and see him, so in my mind I thought that time was eternal that nothing could happen, and I wasted that last call with my father, I could have done it and I did not do it.

By truly valuing time we can put on a scale the important things for this moment, we must prioritize and focus on what really makes us feel full, fulfilled, and focus on everything that truly brings us value and on the people really important to us, in my case that taught me to prioritize more each of my family members, they are very important to me and deserve to be always in first place.

Nobody knows the day and time that will cease to exist, that is why we must prioritize our time and distribute it in the best way without losing it easily, these last days I have seen many people I know who have died unexpectedly, heart attacks, stroke among others, sudden deaths, perhaps these people did not expect the time to go away so fast and stopped doing and saying so many things, they wanted to have said or done.

Therefore I invite you to distribute your time well and dedicate as much time as possible to what is most important to you, it is a way to be happy and grateful, remember that the time that goes away does not come back....
