Saludos estimados amigos de YouHive. Hoy participo en mi segunda iniciativa en esta comunidad y con mucho entusiasmo, la música es una de las expresiones más hermosas, pero hablo de la buena música, no de la supuesta música de hoy en dia (con mucho respeto para aquellos que les gusta lo que suena en estos tiempos), donde todo es groserías, prostitución, droga, narcotráfico, lujos, infidelidades, pues no, yo hablo de esa música hermosa en mi caso de la época de nuestros padres y algunas que otras que sonaban en mi infancia.
Greetings dear friends of YouHive. Today I participate in my second initiative in this community and with much enthusiasm, music is one of the most beautiful expressions, but I speak of good music, not the so-called music of today (with much respect for those who like what sounds in these times), where everything is rudeness, prostitution, drugs, drug trafficking, luxury, infidelities, I speak of that beautiful music in my case of the time of our parents and some others that sounded in my childhood.
Hay canciones que no solo se escuchan, sino que se sienten desde lo más profundo. Y para mí, “Que canten los niños” de José Luis Perales es justamente una de esas. Es de esas canciones que uno no puede escuchar sin que se le encoja un poquito el corazón, porque tiene una mezcla perfecta entre ternura, verdad y esperanza.
There are songs that are not only listened to, but also felt deeply. And for me, “Que canten los niños” by José Luis Perales is just one of those. It is one of those songs that you can't listen to without your heart shrinking a little bit, because it has a perfect mix of tenderness, truth and hope.
Es una canción que habla de cosas muy profundas con palabras sencillas, que usa la voz de los niños como símbolo de pureza, de justicia, de un mundo que todavía puede cambiar. La letra es brutal, porque habla desde la inocencia, pero también desde la denuncia. “Que canten por los que no pueden alzar la voz…” esa línea me quedó grabada. Es un golpe suave pero directo, porque es verdad, hay demasiados niños en el mundo que no tienen voz, que viven en pobreza, en guerra, sin educación, sin futuro… y pareciera que a nadie le duele.
It is a song that speaks of very deep things with simple words, that uses the voice of children as a symbol of purity, of justice, of a world that can still change. The lyrics are brutal, because they speak from innocence, but also from denunciation. “Let them sing for those who can't raise their voices...” that line stuck with me. It is a soft but direct blow, because it is true, there are too many children in the world who have no voice, who live in poverty, in war, without education, without a future... and it seems that nobody is hurt.
Lo que más me gusta de esta canción es que no cae en la tristeza ni en la quejadera. Al contrario, te invita a creer que todavía se puede. Que si escuchamos a los niños, si los dejamos cantar, reír, opinar, soñar… quizás el mundo pueda cambiar de verdad. Perales no solo escribió una canción, escribió un manifiesto lleno de esperanza.
What I like most about this song is that it doesn't fall into sadness or complaining. On the contrary, it invites you to believe that it is still possible. That if we listen to children, if we let them sing, laugh, express their opinions, dream... maybe the world can really change. Perales didn't just write a song, she wrote a manifesto full of hope.
Musicalmente es sencilla, pero eso es lo bonito. La melodía es suave, los coros de los niños le dan una fuerza tremenda, y todo está hecho con un cariño que se nota. No necesita producción exagerada, porque la emoción va por dentro. Cada vez que la escucho me dan ganas de luchar más por los que vienen detrás. Por mis sobrinos, por los hijos que algún día tendré, por todos esos niños que todavía sueñan con un mundo mejor. Esta canción me recuerda que todavía vale la pena creer en algo.
Musically it is simple, but that's the beauty of it. The melody is soft, the children's choirs give it tremendous strength, and everything is made with a love that shows. It doesn't need an exaggerated production, because the emotion goes inside. Every time I listen to it, it makes me want to fight more for those who come after me. For my nephews and nieces, for the children I will have someday, for all those children who still dream of a better world. This song reminds me that it is still worth believing in something.
Este video musical me gusta mucho porque la integración de los niños sinceramente es la que le da magia a esta letra, obviamente estamos hablando de un cantante de lo mejor entre los mejores, por Dios eso no se discute, pero al estar su mensaje lírico dirigido a los niños, cae como anillo al dedo escuchar las voces de todos ellos juntos.
Es impresionante ver una presentación como esta porque en los primeros tramos de la canción vas sintiendo ese clamor de los niños por un mundo mejor pero ya cuando culmina te queda como una satisfacción, son emociones encontradas que te llevar a ponerte en los zapatos de los niños que padecen hoy en dia, y se siente esa alegría de ver como al culminar la canción todos sonríen, es como que te dicen, si su peude, te queda ese sabor esperanzador.
I really like this music video because the integration of the children is honestly what gives magic to this lyric, obviously we are talking about a singer of the best among the best, by God that is not disputed, but being his lyrical message directed to children, it falls like a ring to hear the voices of all of them together.
It is impressive to see a presentation like this because in the first sections of the song you feel the clamor of the children for a better world, but when the song ends you are left with a sense of satisfaction, mixed emotions that lead you to put yourself in the shoes of the children who suffer today, and you feel the joy of seeing how at the end of the song everyone smiles, it is like they are telling you, if you can, you get that hopeful taste.
