Greetings dear friends of YouHive. I was some days without participating because I didn't have internet, but here I am back. If there is something I like about good music is when there is a real story behind them, the same thing happens to me when I see a movie, if it is based on real facts for me it becomes a luxury, but not only movies tell a story, music also shows us through the instruments and great voices stories that left traces.
The Spanish rock band “Maná” is one of my favorites, in fact I think it is the one I have listened to the most because I am not an extreme rock fan, but in this case I am very selective because I think it is one of the bands that have marked a musical legacy both in voice and instrument, it is a very complete band. Today I want to share with you this music video that tells the story of a woman clinging to the hope of seeing her great love again.
Saludos estimados amigos de YouHive. Estuve algunos dias sin participar debido a que no tenia internet, pero aquí estoy de vuelta. Si algo me gusta de la buena música es cuando hay una historia real detrás de ellas, lo mismo me pasa cuando veo una pelicula, si esta basada en hechos reales para mi se convierte en un lujo, pero no solo las películas cuentan historia, nada de eso, la música también nos muestra a través de los instrumentos y grandes voces historias que dejaron huellas.
La agrupación de rock en español "Maná" es una de mis favoritas, de hecho creo que es la que mas he escuchado porque la verdad no soy un fanático extremo del rock, pero en este caso si soy muy selectivo porque creo que es una de las agrupaciones que han marcado un legado musical tanto en voz como en instrumento, es un grupo bastante completo. Hoy les quiero compartir este video musical que habla de la historia de una mujer aferrada a la esperanza de volver a ver a su gran amor.

"El Muelle de San Blas" una de las canciones icónicas y sentidas que ha llevado a esta agrupación a un reconocimiento mundial por la forma en que esta historia literalmente real fue mostrada al mundo de una manera muy sutil, sentimental y profunda.
The song tells the story of a woman who was left waiting for her love on a dock, hoping that someday he will return. And the crazy thing is that it is a true story. That lady really existed, and she waited for decades on the pier in San Blas, Mexico, in her white dress, with her faith intact... until she died. That, in itself, is sad. The story of this woman has gone around the world, it is impressive to know that this was real, I like the video shows the chronology of time to which this woman clings, really and excellent production and another of the moments that I like is when the musicians of the group are there at the seashore singing with all their strength, this gives a different touch to the video, it is like giving continuity to the story saying: here we are at the seashore remembering the one who will never return, and also the vocalist at the end appears mounted on the rocks with a peculiar cry that marks the despair of having spent a lifetime there and not seeing the one who left on a boat and never came back. Phenomenal, for me a jewel of rock in Spanish.
La canción cuenta la historia de una mujer que se quedó esperando a su amor en un muelle, con la esperanza de que algún día él regresará. Y lo más loco es que es una historia real. Esa señora realmente existió, y esperó por décadas en el muelle de San Blas, en México, con su vestido blanco, con su fe intacta… hasta que murió. Eso, ya de por sí, es triste. La historia de esta mujer ha dado la vuelta al mundo, es impresionante saber que esto fue real, me gusta como el video muestra la cronología del tiempo al que esta mujer se aferra, de verdad una producción excelente y otro de los momentos que mas me gusta es cuando los músicos de la agrupación están allí a la orilla del mar cantando con toda su fuerza, esto le da un toque diferente al video, es como darle continuidad a la historia diciendo: aquí estamos a la orilla del mar recordando al que nunca volverá, y también el vocalista al final aparece montado en las rocas con un grito peculiar que marca el desespero de haber pasado allí toda una vida y no ver regresar a ese que partió en un barco y jamás volvió. Fenomenal, para mi una joya del Rock en Español.
I have enjoyed this initiative to the fullest, although it is about to end it has been for me a musical relief, I want to congratulate the community for bringing proposals like these, and the anxiety to know what will be the next initiative invades me.
Me he disfrutado esta iniciativa al máximo, aunque ya está por terminar ha sido para mi un desahogo musical, quiero felicitar a la comunidad por traer propuestas como estas, ya la ansiedad por saber cual sera la proxima iniciativa me invade.
