Prelude
Good day to all, hope that all of you are having a good week so far and having many memorable and interesting battles in Splinterlands. In today's sharing, I will be sharing on an interesting match that I had played within the week where my opponent had a much upgraded lineup with a level 4 Conclave Arcana Archon but I instead used a Foundation Archon.

Some Words Before The Battle

Honestly, by my years of battling, when one faces a well upgraded team, especially one that give better abilities and of a low mana cost, the chances of overcoming them is close to zero. But with the right choice of cards in the lineup, there is still a slim chance that we can still overcome our opponents.

In this battle, my opponent used a Level 4 Bella Ratajowlski coupled with a number of reward cards that are already levelled up significantly such as Olivia of The Brook which is really crazy due to the Mimic ability.

So let's dive right in to today's battle sharing.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, we have fire, life, death and dragon splinter available for selection. Honestly, when I see this, I know I wanted to use some death since my death collection might be more balanced in terms of long battle survival.

To lead the lineup, I call upon Thalgrimore, whom is a death splinter foundation archon that gives -1 health to whole of opponent lineup. To have longer sustainability, I used Ulundin Overseer as the tank which have a tonne of armour and health and able my 2nd card in the lineup alive sufficiently to use both its attacks to harass my opponent. So now we come to the 2nd card, Thraghun which is a double attack card with a decent amount of armour and reach. Both attacks would be able to cripple opponent card health upon hit. Next in the lineup are the duo that is needed for long duration battle, my favourite combo of Helheim Demon and Arachne Weaver. One draws attack to it while the other heals the whole lineup using corrupted healing. Though corrupted healing will worse off the max health upon healing, it is still very viable and can create a lot of trouble for opponent when health is refreshed. The next card is a 2 attack card, Sorrow Harvester that reduces the health of opponent by another 1, bring overall reduction to 2. Last but not least is Meriput Slinger that is a 4 range attacker that slow down opponent upon hitting them. So let's move on to what my opponent had.

As mentioned, opponent used a Level 4 Bella Ratajowlski which is a life splinter archon and giving bonuses to Ulund bloodline. Thankfully opponent did not have any Ulund in the lineup. First in the lineup will be the tank Janni Rebel with 10 health which has flanking and allow further boost to melee attack with the inspire. And this flank allowed the card at position 2 to be able to strike. The card is Skyspire Leopard which can hit real hard when inspired at 4 melee damage and even has retaliate. Next card in the lineup is Celestial Guardian, a foundation legendary card that hits for 2 magic attack and has flying. Next is the card that I know can go crazy, Olivia of The Brook which already has Mimic ability and is also a double attack card. Mimic is quite scary if Mimic lands on some of the crazy abilities that cards on the field possess. Next is another foundation card, Sherringham Logger for 2 melee sneak attack and finally we have Luceheim Demon which has cleans and can snipe for 3 range attack.

With a very levelled up opponent that possess many strong abilities, can lineup that contained my combo win? There is only one way to find out!

Let's go to the round by round synopsis.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - While I thought it is going to a tough nut to crack, with a reinforced frontline that was held firm by Helheim Demon and Arachne Weaver, we did alright and even manage to take out the high health Janni Rebel and Skyspire Leopard.

Round 2 - Helheim Demon opened the round with a smash towards Celestial Guardian before Meriput Slinger added some pressure for Arachne Weaver to heal the lineup and take out Olivia of The Brook and finally even Sherringham Logger was taken out as well.

Round 3 - All is done when Helheim Demon reduce the health of the card, Meriput Slinger open up the armour and finally Arachne Weaver again with the kill to settle the match and give us the victory.

Battle Summary
Honestly, with the kind of lineup that I am facing, I know I was going to have a tough time to handle. However, with a carefully planned combo, I was able to pick out my opponent cards with ease while maintaining the lineup in good condition.
