Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. With Conclave Arcana setting the stage and players getting more cards from this new set. I am seeing many new stuff coming right out from this new set. And to kick off more stuff, there is a new event that is coming up where brand new card - Yaba's Pickle is coming to Splinterlands.

Initial Thoughts On The Card
4 mana means this card qualifies for Little League which is very important as somehow I do encounter this ruleset very often. The next tricky thing is that this card has no attack and that spells for Moxian Rebel whom can give this card some magic attack. Then as this card levels up, it gains a great deal of abilities of which all are defensive ones from dodging and absorbong damage from attacks to slowing people down and healing itself. Stat wise growth, this is essentially a tank card which I believe I should be seeing very often in the near future.
How To Get Yaba's Pickle?
Yaba’s Pickle will be available in three foil editions, the regular, the gold and the black foil.
First Method - SPS Staking
Each player will be eligible to purchase 1 card per 1,000 SPS staked at the time of the snapshot by the Splinterlands team. And each of card cost either 150 credit or 150 DEC. So to get more cards on discount, before the event fire off, do gather more SPS and then stake them up to get ready for the snap shot.
Second Method - Gold Foil Ticket Raffle
This will happen 7 days after the pre-sale ends. At this stage, you can start crafting raffle ticket. Each raffle ticket cost 200 Aura, 10 Vouchers, and 200 DEC. Each Raffle entry will have a chance to win a Gold Foil Arcane card distributed from highest mint number first to lowest number last. So if you've missed the first portion, the 2nd portion not only give you a chance at the card but you will be able to participate in the raffle to win a gold foil version of Yaba's Pickle. Take note, fifty Gold Foil cards are up for grabs and will be raffled each day.
Third Method - Auction
Another 7 days after the Gold Foil Raffle complete, a Black Foil Auction will begin. Twenty Black Foil Arcane cards will be auctioned at a rate of one card daily. Each auction will last for twenty five hours. Auction points will be the exclusive bidding currency for the auction and can be crafted for 1,000 Aura, 50 Vouchers and 500 DEC. A little costlier but I think to own a copy of Black Foil is great.
Get or not?
While 150 DEC is not exactly a super high value amount, it is still a little more expensive and hence to get ready for it, one has to plan for it early. The official date of this card sale is not revealed, so do prepare more SPS to get into the sale.
I think I should be wanting to get maybe 14 copies so that I will be able to at least the a copy with dodge ability unlocked. I think with proper weapons training, this card will be able to showcase its fullest potential.
Wrap Up
Really glad to see how the new set is taking to stage and this is a cute card that I personal;y think is quitea decent card to own. Might not be a massive game changer, but the stats and abilities are already showcasing how good it can be serving as a low mana tank.
