In this post I would like to take a look at my SPS staking progress as well as review my last season in Splinterlands. It was an interesting season and as you can see in the chart below the quickly down trending line of my SPS earnings broke the trend in the last season.
I am not sure what I would attribute the uptick to, but I am up over eight thousand SPS earned in the last season. As always I do not sell SPS, everything I earn gets automatically staked every five minutes by the software I am running. It seems that just recently I celebrated 500 000 SPS staked and I am already at almost 522K SPS staked. It will be exactly a month from that post and in a month I have increased my SPS staking by almost twenty two thousand!
Season Summary
I must admit that last season was a very busy one one for me, there was my birthday, then our daughter's birthday and my wife's birthday during this season. There was also a fork that caused an emergency update to the SPS Validators, which I am happy to report that I was one of the very first nodes to do the update and re-sync to the new chain without loosing much in SPS block signing.
There was also an update to the SPS Validator Software to prevent these kinds of events in the future that I was also quick to implement. For most of my season I continue to play in Wild as it offers really good SPS earnings and much better Glint token earnings. My Legendary reward cards are still not maxed out so I am trying to max them out before the new reward cards will come out. According to Splinterlands that will happen in three to four months from now.

As you can see I was able to reach Champion Two in Wild league last season. My win rate is slightly over 51% which is good considering I don't have all the most powerful cards.
I mostly stayed out of Modern as I am trying to maximize my Glint earnings.

SPS Validator Block Validation rewards continue to be my top source of SPS this season and are up from 4855 to 4964 SPS despite slipping from thirteenth position to fourteenth position in Validator rankings this season. I would attribute my increased earnings to me quickly upgrading my validator to the newest chain during the fork while everyone was down. I was signing more blocks while others were missing. I would expect my SPS earnings from block validation to go down next month.

It is interesting to note that my SPS earnings in Wild saw a nice increase from 1,155to 1,370 and moved up to the second source of SPS rewards passing the SPS staking rewards that remained the same at 1,214 SPS despite my constantly increasing SPS stake.

Reward draws purchased
As you can see I continue to purchase all of the Chests trying to get legendary reward cards as well as legendary draws. You can see that despite spending 555K glint I was not able to purchase the maximum amount of Legendary draws getting only six out of ten Legendary in the first tranche during the last season.

As you can see I earned eight Legendary reward cards which brings me closer to maxing out my reward cards.
League rewards
As you can see I got a good number of League advancement rewards which earned me extra 30 energy or more than a day worth of playing energy. I also got some merits for my gladiator cards and some potions.

Closing notes
While I didn't earn any Jackpot prizes last season overall it was a very solid season where I earned more SPS than in my previous season. In a month I increased my staked SPS by about 22k, at this rate I will be at 600 000 staked SPS by October of this year!
I am making solid progress on my Legendary reward cards and hoping to max them out by the time the new reward card arrive in October or November.
