The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. After the free season of Wild ended, I went back to the modern format. It was rough as I lost quite a few matches, and life got busy. So I didn't get as many fights as I would have liked. I did get more than last season though.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 8,754 Glint for last season, which is more than what I was getting before. I was a bit surprised to see that I got a leaderboard glint reward as well because I didn't even play that much. I guess there just wasn't that many people playing in the lower leagues.
This season, I did get some chest advancement rewards, but it wasn't so great this time. I went from Silver III to Silver I, and it makes me wonder if I should try to decrease my rank to get more chest rewards. I tend to struggle in modern quite a bit, as moving up from Silver I seems quite hard right now. I am still not sure if I can reach gold rank or not though.
This season, I chose to open 1 epic and 14 rares. I felt like getting an epic card after a long while. I am glad that I did get a gold foil rare card though.
Gladius Packs
I have collected 6 packs since the last time I opened packs. The number of packs is one more than last time because our guild did slightly better in brawls. I feel that there are even fewer people now playing brawls in our guild, and we aren't even filling all the brawls now. It was a bad opening as I only got 1 epic card. I was able to level a card this time though.
I leveled Liza Fox to level 7. It doesn't learn any new abilities, but I think this is a fairly strong damage dealer, and having one extra health never hurts.
SPS
My SPS rewards were higher than last time. It was around what I expected because I didn't do so many ranked battles, but my brawl rewards were much higher this time around.
I don't see any more pool rewards so I might remove my liquity now. I plan on staking all of my SPS I got from staking for a total of 163.364 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.
Conclusion
I am still unable to use up all my energy every single day, and I earned more than the previous season. There wasn't much I could do as time was tight and I couldn't do enough fights. With brawls changed after the modern changes, I find myself earning less from brawls but this time around was good. At this point, I am just submitting my brawl fights and doing some fights from time to time. Summer has been quite busy for me, and there hasn't been much I could do lately.
