A new week and a new Splinterlands challenge to work it out!!!
Paris Olympics saw the curtains yesterday and India did better than previous Olympics, but those medals didn't come as expected as there were too many Fourth place finishes, but, definitely lots of positives out of those #4 finishes.
The challenge we have at hands in this week's Splinterlands Battle Mage Secretes Challenge is something which restricts the monsters to just neutral Ones as the rule set of Shades of Gray is the theme for this week!!!
Here I go with battle details for the same.
Shades of Gray allows the neutral monsters only to be used in the battle and time to unearth those neutral guys such as Coeurl Lurker and those tiny magic monsters such as Doctor Blight, Spirit Hoarder and so on

It some times gets very tricky with those taunt monsters as those can be your strong point and can also be the weak links, luckily, Coeurl Lurker I used as front monster did work well for me in this battle and here I share the details of the monsters I used.
Lineup:
1. Coeurl Lurker:
With the extent of monsters we have which have the ability to attack Second line monsters, I thought it's better to draw all the attack towards front and hence, used this monster with taunt ability which also has the ability to evade the attacks with phase and dodge abilities.
2. Uraeus:
Mana cost limit of 31 means, I had to be choosy with monsters to be selected and Uraeus with just 3 cost, did fit in this lineup and as I had planned to have 3 magic monsters to follow this, this was a better chose for Second position.
3. Doctor Blight:
Doctor Blight is always One of my strong starters in any lineup I use as it can stop that healing and can poison the monsters it attacks besides having the scavenger ability.
4. Magi of Chaos:
Magi of Chaos is the highest magic attack neutral monster I have and had to use this to get rid of those high health monsters normally used as front monsters and it didn't disappoint me in this battle.
5. Spirit Hoarder:
Last monster I could afford to use wit that 31 MANA cost cap was the Spirit Hoarder which is a tricky customer like Doctor Blight as it can heal Second line monsters, can blind all the monsters on other side as well.
With this lineup and with a taunt ability monster in Coeurl Lurker, it did go well for me as won this battle comfortably and here are few screenshots from the battle.
Wow, Coeurl Lurker was such a strong monster which evades not just magic monsters, it also evades melee and ranged attack Ones too and can be very lethal with a tank healer and cleanser ability monster, isn't it?
