The days are slowly getting longer now, and everything feels like it’s going back to how it was before the snow. Most of the snow has melted, and the ground is starting to show again. The town doesn’t look as white and silent anymore. Instead, the skies have softer, warmer colours. Some evenings look golden, and the mornings feel brighter than they did a few weeks ago.
अब दिन धीरे-धीरे लंबे होने लगे हैं, और सब कुछ वैसा ही लगने लगा है जैसा बर्फ गिरने से पहले था। ज़्यादातर बर्फ पिघल चुकी है, और ज़मीन फिर से दिखने लगी है। शहर अब उतना सफेद और शांत नहीं दिखता। आसमान के रंग भी अब नरम और गर्म लगते हैं। कुछ शामें सुनहरी दिखती हैं, और सुबहें कुछ हफ्ते पहले से ज़्यादा उजली लगती हैं।
There is still a little chill in the air, but it’s not as harsh as before. The sun feels nicer now, and it stays out for longer. I find myself sitting in the balcony more often, just enjoying the warmth on my face and hands.
हवा में अभी भी थोड़ी ठंडक है, लेकिन पहले जैसी तीखी नहीं। धूप अब ज्यादा अच्छी लगती है, और देर तक रहती है। मैं इन दिनों अक्सर बालकनी में बैठकर धूप सेंकती हूँ और उसके हल्के-हल्के गर्म एहसास का आनंद लेती हूँ।
This time feels calm and simple. It’s not fully winter anymore, but not spring either. It’s just that quiet in-between phase when the snow disappears slowly, the light changes, and life goes on in small, familiar ways. I took these pictures in the evening when I was on a walk, just enjoying the soft light and the warmth of the sun.
यह समय शांत और सादा सा लगता है। न पूरी तरह सर्दी है, न ही बसंत आया है। यह बस एक बीच का दौर है, जब बर्फ धीरे-धीरे पिघलती है, रोशनी बदलती है, और जिंदगी अपने छोटे-छोटे, जाने-पहचाने तरीकों से चलती रहती है। ये तस्वीरें मैंने शाम की सैर के दौरान ली थीं, जब मैं हल्की धूप और बदलती रोशनी का आनंद ले रही थी।
