In fall, the mountains burst into different colors, and it feels amazing to see them. This first photo i took from within an orchard, you can catch a sneak peek of a snow covered mountain in the distance, with plenty of clouds rolling in from that side.
फॉल के मौसम में पहाड़ों में तरह-तरह के रंग नजर आते हैं, और देखने में बहुत मज़ा आता है। ये पहली फोटो मेने बाग़ के बीच से ली है। दूर एक बर्फ़ से ढका पहाड़ झलक रहा है और उस तरफ़ से काफी बादल भी आ रहे थे।
The next four photos are from a bright sunny day. Even though the air was quite chilly, the sun was shining brilliantly. The hills were painted in different shades, and behind them stood another snow covered peak.
अगली चार तस्वीरें एक बहुत धूप वाले दिन की हैं । हवा में ठंडक थी लेकिन सूरज खूब चमक रहा था। इन पहाड़ियों पर अलग-अलग रंग दिखाई दे रहे थे, और इनके पीछे एक और बर्फ़ से ढकी चोटी थी।
All these peaks are in different directions. In the two photos you see here, the peaks don’t have snow because they’re slightly lower in height compared to the snow covered ones.. though still quite tall. Maybe they got a lot of sunlight there, so the snow must have melted.
ये सारी चोटियाँ अलग-अलग दिशाओं में हैं। इन दो तस्वीरों में जो चोटियाँ दिख रही हैं, उन पर बर्फ़ नहीं है क्योंकि उनकी ऊँचाई बर्फ़ से ढकी चोटियों से थोड़ी कम है। लेकिन वे भी काफ़ी ऊँची हैं। शायद वहाँ धूप ज़्यादा पड़ी होगी, इसलिए बर्फ़ पिघल गई होगी।
Each side had its own story.. one covered in snow, another glowing under the sun. The changing shades of the hills and the quiet movement of clouds make you feel the peace of mind you rarely have in the city. It’s strange how the same mountains can look so different each time, as if they’re revealing a new side of themselves with every season.
हर दिशा की अपनी एक कहानी थी । कहीं बर्फ़ की चादर ओढ़े चोटियाँ, तो कहीं धूप में चमकते पहाड़। पहाड़ियों के बदलते रंग और बादलों की धीमी चाल मन में वैसी शांति भर देते हैं, जो शहरों में शायद ही कभी मिलती है। अजीब है, वही पहाड़ हर बार कुछ अलग दिखते हैं, जैसे हर मौसम में अपने नए रूप से हमें कुछ कहना चाहते हों।
