These are pictures from my camera roll that i took during the monsoon .. some of this and some from past... small moments that caught my eye while walking around.

In the first photo, I saw this brown, dry leaf resting on wet mud. It had rained not long ago, and the ground was soft with little puddles. The leaf looked like it had fallen a while ago, but somehow, it still stood out — quiet, still, and full of detail. I liked how the water around it reflected the sky a little.
पहली तस्वीर में, मैंने गीली मिट्टी पर टिका हुआ एक भूरा, सूखा पत्ता देखा। कुछ देर पहले ही बारिश हुई थी, और ज़मीन नरम थी और उसमें छोटे-छोटे गड्ढे थे। पत्ता ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे कुछ देर पहले ही गिरा हो, लेकिन फिर भी वह अलग दिख रहा था - शांत, स्थिर और बारीकियों से भरा हुआ। मुझे अच्छा लगा कि कैसे उसके आस-पास का पानी आसमान को थोड़ा-थोड़ा प्रतिबिम्बित कर रहा था।
The next few pictures are of a tiny snail I found crawling slowly among fresh green plants. It looked like it had just come out after the rain. Everything around it was damp, the leaves had water drops, and the green looked deeper and brighter. The snail was really small, but its shell had a nice spiral pattern, and I leaned in close to capture it.
अगली कुछ तस्वीरें एक छोटे से घोंघे की हैं जो मुझे ताज़े हरे पौधों के बीच धीरे-धीरे रेंगते हुए मिला। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे बारिश के बाद अभी-अभी बाहर आया हो। उसके आस-पास सब कुछ गीला था, पत्तों पर पानी की बूँदें थीं, और हरियाली गहरी और चमकदार दिख रही थी। घोंघा वाकई छोटा था, लेकिन उसके खोल पर एक सुंदर सर्पिल पैटर्न था, और मैं उसे कैद करने के लिए उसके पास झुक गया।
These were dainty flowers growing in a bunch. They had a beautiful purple colour. The leaves were thick and a little rough, probably holding onto raindrops. In the second one the sky is visible in the background. The clouds were rolling in, giving that moody, monsoon look. I liked the contrast ... the flowers up close, bright and clear, and the sky behind, soft and cloudy.
ये गुच्छों में लगे हुए सुंदर फूल थे। इनका रंग बहुत ही सुंदर बैंगनी था। पत्तियाँ मोटी और थोड़ी खुरदरी थीं, शायद बारिश की बूँदें पकड़ी हुई थीं।दूसरे चित्र में पृष्ठभूमि में आकाश दिखाई दे रहा है। बादल घिर रहे थे, जिससे वह मनमोहक, मानसूनी सा लग रहा था। मुझे यह विरोधाभास बहुत पसंद आया... पास में फूल, चमकीले और साफ़, और पीछे आकाश, कोमल और बादलों से घिरा हुआ।
