These days, I feel like the sun looks much bigger than usual. I don’t know if it actually is or if I’m just noticing it more because I’ve been spending most of my time at home lately. The balcony has become my usual spot in the evenings, and I’ve found myself paying a lot more attention to the sunsets.
इन दिनों मुझे लगता है कि सूरज पहले से कहीं बड़ा दिखाई देता है। पता नहीं सच में ऐसा है या फिर मैं ही अब उस पर ज़्यादा ध्यान देने लगी हूँ क्योंकि आजकल मेरा ज़्यादातर समय घर पर ही बीतता है। शाम के समय बालकनी मेरा पसंदीदा ठिकाना बन गई है, और मैंने महसूस किया है कि अब मैं सूर्यास्त को पहले से कहीं अधिक गौर से देखने लगी हूँ।
Yesterday’s sunset was especially beautiful. It had rained in the afternoon, and there were still plenty of clouds left in the sky by evening. They kept moving slowly, sometimes covering parts of the sun and then revealing it again. For a while, I could see the sun clearly between the gaps in the clouds.
कल का सूर्यास्त कुछ ज़्यादा ही खूबसूरत था। दोपहर में बारिश हुई थी, इसलिए शाम तक आसमान में काफी बादल मौजूद थे। वे धीरे-धीरे सरक रहे थे, कभी सूरज को आंशिक रूप से ढक लेते और फिर कुछ देर बाद उसे दोबारा दिखा देते। कुछ समय तक मैं बादलों के बीच बने खाली हिस्सों से सूरज को साफ़ देख पा रही थी।
There was the blue of the evening sky, the white and grey shades of the clouds, and the warm orange glow coming from the setting sun. The combination looked different every few minutes as the clouds shifted around.
आसमान में शाम का नीला रंग था, बादलों की सफेद और धूसर परतें थीं, और डूबते सूरज की गर्म नारंगी आभा चारों ओर फैली हुई थी। बादलों के लगातार खिसकने के साथ यह नज़ारा हर कुछ मिनट में बदल जाता था और रंगों का मेल हर बार थोड़ा अलग दिखाई देता था।
I ended up taking quite a few pictures from different corners of the balcony. Each angle looked slightly different, and I wanted to capture how the scene kept changing. As the sun moved lower and finally disappeared from view, the sky didn’t immediately lose its color. Instead, it turned into a bright fiery orange that spread across the horizon.
मैंने बालकनी के अलग-अलग कोनों से काफी तस्वीरें खींच लीं। हर कोण से नज़ारा थोड़ा अलग दिखाई दे रहा था, और मैं उस बदलते हुए दृश्य को कैमरे में कैद करना चाहती थी। जैसे-जैसे सूरज नीचे जाता गया और आखिरकार नज़र से ओझल हो गया, आसमान का रंग तुरंत फीका नहीं पड़ा। बल्कि पूरा क्षितिज एक चमकदार, आग जैसे नारंगी रंग से भर गया, जो दूर तक फैला हुआ था।
I loved how the sunlight was falling on the clouds. Some parts were glowing brightly while others stayed darker, creating a contrast that looked beautiful from where I was standing.
मुझे सबसे ज़्यादा यह अच्छा लगा कि सूरज की रोशनी बादलों पर किस तरह पड़ रही थी। बादलों के कुछ हिस्से चमक रहे थे, जबकि कुछ भाग अपेक्षाकृत गहरे दिखाई दे रहे थे। इस वजह से एक खूबसूरत सा अंतर बन रहा था, जो जहाँ मैं खड़ी थी वहाँ से बहुत अच्छा लग रहा था।
