I met this mantis in the undergrowth next to the villa. I can call myself lucky since after I got some photos of this mantis, the battery of my camera was run out.
Not sure what happen, but it seems that the third party charger that I have for my camera's battery is not working really well, because the power runs out too fast.
I was smiling yet a little bit irritated by that because it was that hard to find a macro subject, and when I found one, my battery ran out.
This praying mantis was doing the best thing he could do, which was folding his front leg for the praying position. It might seem to be so noble, an animal with a praying gesture, but don't be fooled, as it was a defensive stance, before it will attack you if they feel threatened.
Overall he look so cute with the huge shape of its eyes, building to the side, it seem that they don't pose any threat at all, but in the animal world, this little cutie is a ferocious hunter, it can even eat a small house blizzard.
