Greetings!
Today I am back to publish one of my findings in nature, yesterday on May 21, 2025 and I have added it as one of my observations in the iNaturalist community.
Jelly mushrooms or with the Latin name Guepiniopsis alpina are a species of fungus in the Dacrymycetaceae family. In terms of texture, this herbal medicine is exactly like jelly and when touched it does have that texture.
So far. from several previous discoveries, the shape varies. There are those that are cup-shaped, ears and thick plates like the ones I show here.
They predominantly grow on rotting wood and can grow quickly in moderate rainy weather.

The platform allows users to upload photos or videos of plants, animals, and other organisms, which can then be identified by a community of other users. In addition, iNaturalist also has an automatic identification feature that uses computer vision to help identify species. |
