yeah this is one type of plant that has been cultivated for generations by the Indonesian people, a plant that is popularly known as "Nilam" in Indonesia, while in scientific language this plant is known as "Pogostemon cablin Benth".

The plant nicknamed green gold in Indonesia is one of the important plants for producing essential oils that are very important for industry, especially the perfume and cosmetics industry. Patchouli is included in the lamiaceae family and is known for having a strong and distinctive aroma. Behind its inconspicuous size and simple appearance, the patchouli plant holds extraordinary potential, especially in our country, Indonesia, which is the largest patchouli producer in the world.
