on this occasion I would like to show some photos of my findings while walking in the forest near my house, and this is one of the species that has an important role in the ecosystem as a decomposer of organic matter, this is a species of fungus Genus Neonothopanus that grows on the surface of an areca nut tree that has begun to rot.

At first I thought that this mushroom was a species of marasmius mushroom because it has a white cap, but after a while I made observations and I found the fact that this mushroom has a very different difference, if the Marasmius mushroom has a white cap and also has a unique mushroom stem, while the mushroom that I found this time does not have a protruding stem like the marasmius mushroom, this mushroom looks simple with a semi-hard texture, on the other hand this mushroom also has a slight resemblance to the oyster mushroom that we often hunt for consumption, for this mushroom species I still lack information about it, I do not know yet whether this mushroom species is safe to consume or not.
