The mural is a tribute to the Packers legend and is seen by motorists crossing the nearby Bart Starr Memorial Bridge.
This mural, on the control tower of the Ray Nitschke Memorial lift Bridge is also in downtown Green Bay across the Fox River and was painted by Beau Thomas
The Green Bay Packers' number 66 is retired in honor of legendary Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Nitschke. Nitschke played his entire 15-year career with the Packers, was a key defensive anchor for the team's championship teams in the 1960s, and his number was retired by the team in 1983.
Not exactly a mural, the Titletown development smokestack is within th 45-acre mixed-use area adjacent to Lambeau Field. The team owns this land and developed the district as a community space with parks, restaurants, a football themed playground, a sledding hill, and other amenities. The 'smokestack' is lit during special events and on gameday.
