Hoy celebramos el Día de los Círculos infantiles, el 10 de abril de 1961, surgen por primera vez en Cuba estas importantes instituciones educacionales para los niños de 0 a 6 años.
La vida de los niños en los círculos infantiles se rige por un horario de vida que contempla la satisfacción de las necesidades básicas (alimentación, aseo y sueño), así como por el horario docente, que contempla las diversas actividades pedagógicas que propician el desarrollo, juegos, etc.
Ver a los niños entre risas que se mezclan con el llanto casi siempre mañanero de alguno en adaptación, las carreras de los más intranquilos por el salón y la alegría general que caracteriza a nuestros niños, son los primeros pasos para una vida feliz.
Son sitios envueltos de amor, que nos mueven el deseo de volver a la infancia.
Estos niños son más comunicativos, captan con mayor rapidez los contenidos escolares y logran socializar con más facilidad, porque se acostumbran a convivir con diferentes caracteres y practican la resiliencia.
Siendo una de las obras más nobles de la Revolución, los círculos infantiles tienen mucho que perfeccionar aún, pero también tienen muchos méritos para elogiar, el principal: abrir las puertas al mundo exterior de nuestros niños y niñas, con disciplina y educación.
Muchas felicidades a todos los educadores que contribuyen con esta noble labor, en los Círculos Infantiles, que hoy cumple 64 años.

Today we celebrate the Day of the Children's Circles. On April 10, 1961, these important educational institutions for children from 0 to 6 years of age were created for the first time in Cuba.
The life of the children in the children's circles is governed by a life schedule that contemplates the satisfaction of basic needs (food, hygiene and sleep), as well as by the teaching schedule, which contemplates the diverse pedagogical activities that favor development, games, etc.
Seeing the children laughing, mixed with the almost always early morning cries of some of them in adaptation, the races of the more restless ones around the room and the general joy that characterizes our children, are the first steps to a happy life.
These are places wrapped in love, which move us to return to our childhood.
These children are more communicative, grasp school content more quickly and are able to socialize more easily, because they get used to living with different characters and practice resilience.
Being one of the noblest works of the Revolution, the children's circles still have much to be perfected, but they also have many merits to praise, the main one: opening the doors to the outside world for our children, with discipline and education.
Many congratulations to all the educators who contribute to this noble work in the Children's Circles, which today celebrates its 64th anniversary.
