Hello everyone, so I was supposed to show you all the hive jacket today but I still haven’t gotten the colours that I need so I decided to share this hair scarf I made with the hive logo rather.
For a while now I’ve been thinking about crocheting stuff with the hive logo but honestly I’ve been feeling like I won’t be able to do it.
I’m amazed by the courage I used to hold my hook after reading some encouraging post from @balikis95 . This is the second time a post on hive has encouraged me to do something.
I used about 4 hours to make this scarf because of the hive logo. I’ve realized that one thing as a crocheter is that sometimes you know you are doing the wrong thing but you just want to see how it will look after doing it and I genuinely know I’m not the only person who does this. Lol
Materials I used:
• Yarn leftovers
• 1.60mm Hook

So for row two, I made four chains in the beginning and then made a double crochet into that same stitch. Then I went ahead to crochet into the spaces. At the last end, I made two double crochets with a chain separating them.
I repeated this for thirteen rows and then I started making the hive logo.
For the logo, I used white and then I exchanged the colours as when I had to. If you are wondering, this is also tapestry.
Don’t worry if you are a beginner and confused.
The only advice I can give with tapestry is that you need to use a graph to sketch whatever you want first but as time goes one you eventually get a hang of it.
So for the hive logo, I made 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 ,1 double crochet a for the part of it that looks like a kite and then for the other ones that look like bent L or arrow or however you may call it, I used two double crochets to build it throughout.
I wanted to make some designs but then I felt like it’ll make the scarf look too much so I ended here and just like that I was done.
The result
Crocheting this was fun for me and I hope you like it.
