Foreword
Good day everyone, hope everyone have a good week start to the week so far as we enter mid week and we are right into the holiday seasons and the final month remaining in 2025. Time really flies for this year and for me, due to a special assignment which really took out quite a fair bit of my energy to focus on. And due to that I was not as consistent on hive that I would love to. Nevertheless, we did have a good year and I still manage to push through decent growth throughout the year.
2025 Goal Progress Check
Primary Goal: Reaching 18k HP by 31st December 2025 (Goal Met!!!!)
Secondary Goal: Stretch primary goal and push towards 20k HP by 31st December 2025 (Not done, but looking tough)

Delta to secondary goal: 1640 HP
In terms of growth, we manage to gain 903 HP since the last update, which I think is quite a very substantial growth. Primary goal met and now we are down to the last 1640 HP towards the secondary goal. As mentioned in earlier posts, the way I did my secondary goal is to push myself harder to try to met the primary goal. So even though I might not meet my secondary goal yet, I am still happy that primary goal has been met.
Enablers for Goal
There are a couple of things that have worked well for me in 2024 and I know these will be the key enablers for my goal in 2025. Let's go through them 1 by 1.
Blogging on Hive Blockchain
Bulk of the growth came from here. Mainly from writing and curating. Do not underestimate this and as long as we can be consistent, we will be able to get there and accumulate a strong base to curate a bigger value for good content.
Layer 2 Token Management
There are many layer 2 tokens on Hive that provide some form of passive income. And there are also that have been accumulated while blogging and curating. Actively managing these tokens are important for growth, so here are some of the layer 2 tokens that actually generate liquid hive or swap.hive for me and boost my HP growth.
Liquid Hive Sources:
Holding EDSI tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.085 HIVE per week.
Holding ALIVE tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.006 HIVE per day.
Holding ALIVE tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.005 HIVE per day.
And with this it gives me a grand total of 0.162 HP
SWAP.HIVE Sources:
Holding BBH tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.0128 SWAP.HIVE per week.
All of kind of drama and no longer having SIM to yield me liquid hive have smash me a hard knock in terms of the passive generation.
I will need to relook hard in this aspect for the coming year on what can bring me more passive. One aspect will be discussed in the next bullet point.
HP Delegation:
Because of all the craziness and need for sufficient liquid hive, I started delegating to @ecency. Reason being that hive dividends for delegating is being send out each day and if I am not wrong, it is 100% dividends. On top of that, there will be ecency points being given out which will come in handy to get things on ecency such as promote or boost+. The APR is good as well, so I will continue to delegate to ecency for the upcoming year too.
External Faucets
This has been my lunch clicks whenever I have some time while waiting for my colleagues to buy their meal. It is simple and fuss free though it is not going to make us crazily rich. Just a teeny weeny amount to sometimes help us with small purchases here and there in the blockchain such as Splinterlands cards or maybe dCrops seeds.
Rollercoin
While many might think this game is tough and hard to grow to mine substantial amount of crypto, for me this is another source of crypto earning that is done by playing simple games. I enjoy gathering more miners and decorating my mining room. The amount that I can mine each done is not a lot but in due time as I continue to grow in the game through increasing my mining power via getting powerful miners.
Brainstorm for 2026
Need to consolidate firepower and see which layer 2 token is able to grow substantially. Right now, a few have caught my eye and I will do some research before getting more of them to grow what I have.
Closing
While I did not get as much HP for the last month, I still managed to meet my 2025 primary goal that I set for myself, in the last 19 days, hopefully I can beef up my HP to a better starting state for 2026.
