Namaste!
Today I have chosen Ecency Community to spread the colors of my photography because this community welcomes everyone with almost no restrictions!
Google Lens is confused about whether this is Devil's Trumpet or Angel's Trumpet.
This is true. Although this flower has a great significance in Hinduism and Ayurveda and I know it well in that way, still I thought why not ask Google Lens by what name this flower is known in the world?
In the search result, there were two names of the same flower, one Angel's Trumpet and the other Devil's Trumpet and according to Google Lens, both are correct. So I thought that since Angel-Devil-You-Me and everything else is created by God, why not call it God's Trumpet without getting confused?
In Hinduism, this flower is called Dhatura and is 5 to 8 inches long from its sepal to the top. It is considered auspicious to offer it to Lord Shiva. It also bears a thorny fruit which is also called Thorn Apple in some places and it can be poisonous but it is also used in traditional Ayurvedic Medicines.
Generally, I have seen this flower growing on the roadside and in parks only. I don't know if it is cultivated professionally either. But it is true that like any other flower, seeing it is also a wonderful feeling. Usually, I capture only tiny little flowers in the park, so this time I have photographed a large white flower representing purity, innocence and peace. 💮
