I don't know if it's common there, but here in Brazil, some people have the custom of jumping seven waves to wish themselves luck in life.
I did not know that. That's a cool tradition. Do you have to jump over the waves? Or just jump into them? Either way, it sounds fun.

Literally, people jump over the waves. But I wasn't specific enough for you to understand better. The waves are those really small ones that are already smaller at the edge of the sea.
