Even before the beginning of every new year, I always like to sit down and be very honest with myself , like no over ambitious plans, no pressure to impress anybody, as in just realistic goals that I know I can actually work towards, I have learned that setting goals does not mean stressing yourself unnecessarily, it just means giving yourself direction, so this year, my focus is simple, practical, and important to my life and my kids.

My first major goal is to secure a good job, this one is very important to me because everything in a way depends on it, I need a job that can sustain me and help me stay stable while I prepare myself for school again, I am not looking for anything unrealistic, just something decent that can cover basic needs, bills, and small savings, at this stage of my life, stability matters more than flashy titles, once I am financially grounded, other plans will fall into place more easily.
My second goal is school, Education is still very much part of my plan, but I am taking it step by step, this year, my focus is deciding which school would actually be favorable for me, i don’t want to rush into just any option because pressure is not a good decision maker, i need a school that aligns with my finances, my schedule, and my long term plans, once I figure that out properly, I can move forward with confidence instead of regret.
The third goal, and honestly the one closest to my heart, is sorting out my kid's education and also their general expenses, being a parent changes the way you think about life, everything I do now includes them, I want to make sure their schooling is stable, their needs are met, and they are comfortable, I may not be able to give them everything, but I want to give them a good life, peace of mind, and the feeling of security, yhis year, I am focusing on planning better and making smarter financial decisions for them.
For now, these are the personal goals I’m choosing to focus on, I have learned not to overload myself with too many plans because that usually leads to burnout, I would rather achieve a few important things well than chase many things halfway.
When it comes to Hive, I also have clear goals, I want to increase my Hive Power to at least 5k, I know this might sound a bit funny because I also plan to power down at some point to sort out some real life issues, but even with that, my intention is still growth, hive has been a big part of my journey, and I want to keep building steadily, even if it is just small steps at a time.
Another Hive goal is to get my HBD savings to 500 HBD _ this one is very like intentional, savings give peace of mind, and I want that sense of security for myself and my kids , Knowing that there is something set aside, no matter how small, makes planning for the future feel less scary.
Overall, my goals this year are not about competition or comparison in any way, they’re about survival, growth, and creating a better life, I am doing this for myself and for my kids, so that by the time 2026 comes, we are in a better place than we are now, and that Is one step at a time, one goal at a time.
