And on this week’s topics, I have choose to give my opinion on the no 1️⃣ question.

1️⃣ How are women in your country working together to bring about change? Who do you admire currently and support within ,your region , and why?

Women who advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion are indeed the super women. Although most might be in levels of power, but this is the goal of women empowerment.

When I first read this question my mind went straight to the old saying that is of decade now, “that what a man can do, woman 👩🏻 will do it better” And this is what is happening in the world 🌎 where we all live today, although men hardly accepts this truth.

In my region today women are generally taking up every role and any kind of job that is offered and made available to them both in the offices and on the field.
Few years back when women empowerment awareness was not yet made visible , women tend to shy away from some jobs made available, feeling then that some of these jobs are for men but with the help of women empowerment, women empowering women in my region, we the women are taking the opportunity that is given to us to do more.

I can see women today at every bank security post standing , checking and offering security services as a staff to the bank where they are stationed, This job service years back are carried out only by men.

Another is the role of a job called Traffic Warding. Men in the past years as I remembered dominated this area of job creation. Then we see these men controlling vehicles 🚗 for hours through the day, especially when there is heavy traffic of break down of several vehicles. Today, one of the Traffic Warding office in my region is been headed by a women and this has enabled so many women to gain jobs in this field. An opportunity of women empowerment.

Its very obvious that generally women are spreading with so much margin as compared to the time limit women became aware of what perseverance and the “ I can do it mind set “ we all have now. I feel we are all empowered in different ways as each and every one of us is creating impact in any job or things we are doing and any area we found ourselves being productive to the society in general. This means that every woman is empowering because we are all putting efforts in all that we do.

When I started Real Estate 🏡 job as a side job,I was always thinking 🤔 then how will I cope with all the men who are known for this job. Since at the beginning it has been the men who are into Properly Development, Site Managers and Supervisors, Letting And Leasing of houses, and most of all, many of them studied it as a course at the College, so I felt they stand a chance than we the women who might just be coming up. . But then as time begin to pass, I saw how important it is for me to stay motivated and be zealous. Then when my head of department became a woman 👩🏻, everything fell into place with encouragement and empowerment. This is Women supporting women, not envy, jealous, backbiting and gossiping that brings many women down and unmotivated.

I admire women who encourage others to become who they want to be and those who support women through awareness to know what they want because many women are still lacking behind due to lack of awareness. And many are also still afraid of not believing in themselves. They however feel life is too hard so they succumb to their comfort zone.
