For this week @Ladiesofhive - Contest - #197 questions are:
1οΈβ£ Who in your life inspires you to become the best version of yourself and how do they do so?
~ πππ / ππ ~
2οΈβ£ Giving back is important. With that in mind, how do you support the other women in your life?
I would love to answer question number one, since it holds a lot of value for me. Till a few years back I had couple of names of people who inspired me but as time goes by in my life and my life is getting limited with my circle shrinking and me becoming more and more a closed person, these people are also not really making any difference to me.
In this moment the one who inspires me the most to become the best version of myself is my Son. Over the last few years he has evolved as an exceptional human being. I am not saying this because he is my son, but in real sense the way people respect him for his values, thoughts, actions, it just makes me feel so proud and it inspires me also to raise my own bar. During the pandemic times my son Yohan he raised his voice against all these big giants vaccine mafias, he never succumb to any pressure and he spoke truth and stood up for it without getting scared. He was so fearless that I was amazed by his strong character. There have been court cases filed on him by these mafias and he yet stands up to the truth.
This is one side of him, which is a voluntary activity. On the other side he also has his own functional medicine practice and he always aims for optimal health. His expectation is that even I should be in the best state of my health so on a regular basis he gives me guidance on my health and lifestyle. Every 6 months he gets my blood work done, and then he analyzes my reports and based on that he advises me supplements. His whole idea is to have a healthy organic life. He keeps motivating me to follow healthy lifestyle routines and he expects that I follow his advice.
From my end I make an effort of 100% to follow his advice. I do not wish to put him down in anyway because I know whatever he advices me is for my own good. To be very honest, even with my ageing I feel more healthy then what I was in my 20s and 30s. I see people around me on medications for life long and with low and poor immunity and I look at myself and feel so proud of my son that with his guidance I am in good shape. Even when I went for my Everest base camp trek, he prepared me from months in advance health wise and when I went I absolutely had no health issues.
I do not want to let him down, he wants me to be the best version of myself physically, emotionally and mentally and I will put in my 100% efforts to do so. His spiritual talks gives me guidance and he shows me the right path of life. He is a God sent child to me and my biggest inspiration in life
