So I will say that I had a great interest in studying English and I still have it. English may seem like a normal thing to everyone, but for me this is something different. I am approximately 38 years old now and I am married. Besides, I live in Bangladesh, so I could not finish my studies after my parents died. Everyone used to say what will a girl do by studying? At one point she will get married and then she will go to her in-laws’ house. So I was an orphan child, that is why no one gave me importance. But after marriage my husband told me that I should start studying, but after having a child, the desire went away. Today after seeing the post, that old desire woke up in my mind, so I thought I would share my feelings with you.
I am thinking about starting my studies again and if I start then I will definitely study English and take a degree. To tell the truth, I feel very bad when I see people speaking in English in front of me but I do not understand anything. And when I spoke wrong English, many people made fun of me many times. Still I did not give up education. I will not do a basic English course, if I do then I will learn this subject completely. I believe after education I will also be able to talk freely with people and communicate.
To me, studying English and getting a degree is not a big thing. The matter is that this will be a proof that many opportunities will go away in life but one should not give up because at some point that can be fulfilled.

সবাইকে স্বাগতম আমার পোস্ট এ আজকে আমি আমার প্রপথম পোস্ট লিখতে যাচ্ছি লেডিস অফ হাইভ এ। আজকের টপিক হচ্ছে এডুকেশনাল কোর্স সম্পর্কে। তাহলে আমি বলবো যে আমার ইংলিশ নিয়ে পড়ার খুবই শখ ছিলো এবং এখনো আছে। সবার কাছে ইংলিশ একটা নরমাল জিনিস মনে হতে পারে কিন্তু আমার জন্য এইটা অন্য রকম। এইটা আমার কাছে ভাষা শিকার চেয়েও অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
আমার বয়স আনুমানিক এখন ৩৮ হবে এবং আমি মাররয়েড। তাছাড়া বাংলাদেশ এ বসবাশ করি তাই আমি আমার পড়াশুনা শেষ করতে পারিনি আমার মা বাবা মারা যাওয়ার পরে। সবাই বলতো মেয়ে মানুষ পড়াশুনা করে কী করবে? একটা সময় বিয়ে হবে তখন শশুর বাড়ি চলে যাবে। তো আমি একজন অনাথ বাচ্চা ছিলাম এইজন্য কেউ গুরুত্ব দেয়নি আমাকে। কিন্তু বিয়ের পড়ে আমার হাসব্যান্ড বলেছিলো যেনো আমি পড়াশুনা শুরু করি কিন্তু বাচ্চা হওয়ার পড়ে ইচ্ছা টা চলে গিয়েছিলো। আজকে পোস্ট টা দেখে মনের মধ্যে সেই আগের ইচ্ছা টা জেগে উঠলো তাই ভাবলাম আপনাদের সাথে আমার মনের কথা টা শেয়ার করি।
পড়াশুনা আবার পুনরাই শুরু করার চিন্তা ভাবনা করছি আর যদি শুরু করি তাহলে অবস্যই ইংলিশ নিয়ে পড়াশুনা করবো এবং একটা ডিগ্রী নেবো। সত্যি বলতে আমার খুবই কষ্ট লাগে যখন দেখি মানুষ আমার সামনে ইংলিশ এ কথা বলে কিন্তু আমি কিছুই বুঝিনা। আর ভুল ভাল ইংলিশ বল্লে অনেক সময় অনেকেই ঠাট্টা করেছে আমাকে নিয়ে। তাও আমি শিক্ষা বাড দেয়নি। আমি বেসিক ইংলিশ কোর্স করবো না শুধু করলে পুরা পুরি শিখবো আই সাবজেক্ট টা। আমি বিশ্বাস করি শিক্ষার পড়ে আমিও মানুষের সাথে ফ্রীলি কথা বলতে পারবো কমিউনিকেট করতে পারবো।
আমার কাছে ইংলিশ এ পড়াশুনা করে ডিগ্রী অর্জন করা বড়ো বিষয় না। বিষয় টা হচ্ছে এইটা একটা প্রমান হবে যে জীবনে অনেক অপর্টউনিটি চলে যাবে কিন্তু হাল ছাড়া যাবেনা কারণ এক সময় সেইটা পূরণ করা যাবে।
